Having just resuscitated my PC after a wonky power supply killed everything but the hard drive and the ram, I've managed to finish the upgrade that I started by buying a 480gb ssd, a 2tb mechanical hdd, a 24" 1080p monitor and a new headset. It'll be strange, considering I've had the same 19" 4:3 1280x1024 monitor for about 10 years now, and the hard drive I've got in at the moment is a 5400rpm 500gb. I got good mileage out of my existing headset too: lasted me 5 years at least and for only £12.

I bought a physical copy of Arcana Heart 3: Love Max for my PS Vita a couple days ago. It was release on Wednesday, so I checked my local game store to find that, not only was there no copies, like, anywhere, there was also no release information in the system, plus it was already marked as discontinued. I know it came in physical copies, too; I looked it up online, and multiple sources, including Destructoid, confirmed this. So I came home and bought it off of Amazon. Set me back $50, but now I'm going to have what will probably be considered some kind of rare game in my possession, so that's nice.

Everyone told me not to. I told me not to, after I got bitten when I pre-ordered Colonial Marines. But I couldn't help myself.

Got the Digital Deluxe edition too. Damn me!

Bought a CR-90 Corellian Corvette (the Tantive IV) for the X-Wing Miniatures game. 60 bucks on Amazon, usually 90 in stores. X-wing is such a fun game, for anyone who's in to tabletop gaming and looking for a new game, this is a really fun, easy to learn, and pretty cheap game to get in to. 40 bucks retail for a starter kit, you get the rules, an X wing and 2 Tie Fighters, (I knew I wanted to play Empire, so I traded the X-Wing for Imperial stuff so that's something to think of) all the stuff like dice, range stick and other things you need for the game. then it's usually 10-15 depending where you get it from for a ship, which comes with everything you need, a stand, rules cards, and more tokens and everything to play it. and then around 30 for a medium sized ship, like the Millenium Falcon or Slave 1. Plus again, the models are just amazing quality. While it has little customization compared to other table top games model wise, (even though some of my friends turned to the now-defunct EU and painted some awesome squad colors), the customization comes with picking pilots and what not, to fit your play style.

Sorry if this post kind of turned in to me shilling for X-Wing, it's just a really fun game.

For any Star Wars aficionados, The Tantive IV model is simply gorgeous, so it might be worth it to put it up on your desk or something!

Way too much junk food, totaling $30. I had a bit of mania and decided I wanted pre-made sandwiches and half subs. and of course I needed Oreos and Coke in those nice glass bottles.

Video game wise was One Piece: Unlimited World Red, which felt like a reskinned Kingdom Hearts and was thoroughly disappointing. Except the ending, that was awesome. But it still boggles me mind how much it felt like KH1.

I bought one of these:

Why? Well, if you're asking that, then clearly you don't know about me and my... Thing with bats. Plus, I've been admiring these Beanie Baby toys with the creepily huge soul-stealing eyes for a while; I figured if I'm going to get one, it may as well be a bat wearing a pumpkin costume (or a bat that's part pumpkin, or a bat with orange fur and an incidentally Jack-o-lantern-esque second face on its belly; it's hard to tell). What I do know about this little enigma of a plush is that it will be your best friend forever if you only give it your eternal soul.

since I'm not going to count things like food and gas and boring shit like that ....

Skyrim LE on Steam when it was on sale a couple weeks back was the last 'neat' thing I bought. And since that's not nearly enough for a post, a quick rundown of my characters. cause why not?

I have a Saber toothed Khajiit that's relies solely on her claws to deal with morons (IE anyone dumb enough to screw with her) and a crossbow for morons to gutless to get close to her (IE mages and archers), she also likes heavy armor :D so yay for being brickwall-ish. She spends most her time cave diving and just finished her house at the Lake side manor plot. Not bad for a girl who kicked off her move to Skyrim by going on a drunken tiraid through Skyrim that ended with her meeting a Deadric Prince.

There's a Fox girl, Matera, who spends most her time picking fights with dragons and generally kicking all the ass, but considering she got her ass kicked and was then left for dead in the area with the geysers and hot-springs north of Riften ... (or south of Windhelm) She's gotta house to, not really finished though.

Of course, I rolled a Nord, cause, Skyrim. She's Ex-Dawnguard turned Vampire who recently became Vampire Queen, who amusingly has a Bow that shoots bolts of sunlight, and has a Deadric entity yelling at her to clear out her temple of light. Yup the Vampire Queen is going to running around with two weapons that should, by all rights, leave a pile of ash. It amuses me greatly.

Lastly theres a Succubus, that I don't play much cause shes a mage and I figured out Magic sucks in these games :/

Tacos... They cost more than a whole box of pizza... (That would be the last time I take food advice from a friend...)

Other than that, buying a 32GB Micro SD Card Pack (which came with adapters and shit), a new 3.6v battery pack, and some new screen protectors for my PSP off Amazon only while also buying Paprika on Blu-Ray and the complete series (and movie)of Blue Gender not just because of getting that free shipping along the way...

Wasteland 2, bought from GOG.

It might be my last purchase of the year, since I'll be on board with any GG boycott, if agreement can be reached that there should be one(I'm definitely boycotting Gearbox and Bioware though, so no Presequel or DA:I for me).

It is my random purchase for October, with Assassins Creed Unity following in November.
