i used to play Dead or Alive 4 a lot... and whenever it lagged in an online match, it allowed whoever was defending/countering to see what moves are coming, leading you to "look" good. "lag is like beer" was my motto because beer makes unattractive (or in this case, unskilled) people look good hahassgt splatter said:I'm almost afraid to ask but, what do you mean by "lag is like beer"?Midnight0000 said:man i had a drinking related motto and god a 1-week ban from xbox live for it... apparently someone thought it was offensive. i didnt think "lag is like beer" was offensive at all. i'd still have it if i couldRadeonx said:It used to be "Let's all binge drink", then "You know how I do.", and now its nothing.
Yeah when I "sumnus" I did mean "sumus" like you said. Also when I said "to" I also mean't "tu" witch is a shorter version of what you said. The word "nos" does mean "we" but as you stated it doesn't needed to added, I just put it there because I think it sounds smoother. But the mistypes are because it was late.ludist said:Maybe you just mistyped it but that doesn't mean "We are your enemy" in Latin. Not trying to be a big jerk on the internet, just want to see it right. I can't remember a funny one actually.
Sumnus isn't a word, for one. And the verb in Latin provides the subject, so really "nos" is totally redundant also. Inimicus is singular, which is how you have it translated, but that doesn't make sense in Latin, cause there's no collective plural first person differentiated by a singular whole. "to" isn't a Latin word either.
The correct translation would be "sumus voster inimici," which I think is a little shorter and snappier, personally. That literally means "We are your enemies." If you really wanted to keep "We are your enemy" then "sumus tuus inimicus" is that.
I'm pretty sure anyway. I haven't studied Latin in a little over a year, so I'm a little rusty without any reference.
I lol'd.ThePoodonkis said:"I need the Bat-Thing!"
