People who can't be bothered to find out things for themselves.

Whether in games (The ever-dribbling WoW community has trouble reading their quest logs, and difficulty spelling their class names when it's right there{Yes I mean rogues}) or general tasks, people just have either no motivation to find out what they want to know or they expect someone else to tell them.

Which is why I love linking this site to them: http://lmgtfy.com/
with the question typed in. Then if they don't even have the patience to watch that work for them then they don't deserve to breathe.

When someone says I'm Indian and not Native American. I dont know why... But it bothers me. and I usually end up looking bad since I say something racist in return.

Apologies.

Saying sorry is an excuse for something you never should have done in the first place.

I get annoyed by blanked gender stereotypes such as "Men are such jerks" or "Women are just so stupid." They tick me off, even in jest or venting.

Jersey Shore. ENOUGH FUCKING SAID!

Man that show makes me want to go up to their front door and punch them all in the face. Make them get a better job and look at their sorry-ass life.

Oh I have a few, many that have been mentioned already, common courtesy being the biggest one. I mean is it really that hard to say "please" and "thank you", to smile at other human beings from time to time rather than look on everyone else on this planet with suspicion and loathing... or at least thats the vibe your giving me. Good example is seeing how people treat checkout staff in stores and supermarkets...

Ok so maybe it bugs me personally because my first job was in thier shoes, I dealt with those jerks so I know what its like and wouldnt wish it on anyone. These people arnt shop working robots programmed to serve you, they are people and nothing gives you the right to treat them like dirt (which incidently, add anyone who thinks "the customer is always right" is something to live by and an excuse for being an asshole), they sometimes make mistakes like we all do.

Good example was back at my first job at 16, working the tills at woolworths, I was having a decent enough day, had a new starter on the till next to me so I could help her if she needed it, its nice to have someone to lean on if its your first day and all. But for her, I imagine she had the worst first day ever as this ***** gave her hell. Apparently she had been sold something the weekend before that was defective, all well and good and with a little politness we could have got it replaced or refunded her money and everyone is happy and free to go about thier lives, but no thats not gonna cut it here. She was yelling at this poor girl about how awful service was, how it was her fault, how the company was lousy and with every attempt the girl made to calm her down was met with even more aggresive behaviour, eventually I had to ring the manager down to sort it out as the poor girl was in tears and needed to go to the staff room to compose herself. I hope this customer was happy, through her bitchy mood she made an innocent girl cry on her first day of work for something she had no control over and for what? because you were accidently mis-sold something a week ago? right....

Wow I rambled on a lot more than I intended to there, still had some venting to do I guess... which reminds me before I post this just have to add that one thing that has always driven me nuts, to the point I will leave the room for fear of hitting the person responsible... noisy eaters and people who eat with thier mouthes open, god the sound makes me want to hit something and I dont want to see your food while your eating it! Where the heck did you learn your table manners!

My cousin who's refusing to come to Christmas dinner this year, and refusing to let his wife and son come when he found out my family has pretty much been agnostic/atheist for years.

No one else in the family cares. Because family should be stronger than petty differences in religious beliefs. Learn to buck the fuck up and set an example for your future family by not giving a damn about my religious beliefs and remember that I'm your cousin, and that I don't care what you think.

Well, looking at this thread, I'm glad that at least SOME people understand the concept of a pet peeve. Guess what it ISN'T? Parents sexually abusing their kids. I think pretty much everyone hates that.

Also, whistling. I just hate whistling.

This is kind of a weird one but when Immoral assholes or even complete monsters get Idolized for being "Badass" then good people/charachters are considered somehow "less" because they do whats right

though this is completley subjective and also depends completley on the work

Escort quests in videos games. Especially action games, i sat on god of war 2 for 4 STRAIGHT HOURS trying to stop that architect schmuck from dying. And what perturbed me even more is that I was informed that MY magic was what keeps killing him.

I was trying to escape into the world of being a vengeance-obsessed demigod with anger issues and emotional trauma but i kept getting kicked out because I had to rescue an insignificant little worm who dies 5 minutes later after reading the MOST OBVIOUS INCANTATION EVER because Kratos couldn't bother going to school.

There are lots of things that piss me off, but the thing that sets me off most often and faster than anything else would have to be the liberal and soft stance on immigration in the US. I'm not gonna start in on it, but the way this country and especially California bend over backwards for people who have no legal rights drives me up a wall like nothing else.

Next in line in order is:

2)The United States view of the educational system as the first place to cut money from...constantly.

3)The damage that organized religion does to this world.

4)Anyone who does not understand and does everything they can to hold back nuclear energy.
see here for what I am talking about.
