What's your opinions on the movie Troy 2004 with Brad Pitt?

Okay-ishly Good

It has some real groaner moments but I can appreciate a large cast of extras doing battle scenes with a nice soundtrack.

Achilles vs Hector was well done in my opinion.

I think men wearing miniskirts should come back in style. Brad Pitt was okay, not Chris Hemsworth or Matt Damon hot but I guess as hot as Brad Pitt is capable of being. I liked the leather work done in this movie, good details.Good costuming, the metal armor, fabric and jewelry details were nice as well.

My main disappointment with the movie when it was released was that Eric Bana didn't take his shirt off nearly enough. As far as Hollywood blockbusters go it was a decent enough movie, I remember re-watching it a few times and enjoying it every time, in the way one usually enjoys entertaining but forgettable fair. Considering how much money went into it, I don't see how it could have been much better, watered down as it had to be to appeal to all tastes. Well, maybe if we'd have gotten a "Hector taking a bath scene"...

I've never been much of a Bloom fan, though Diane Kruger was a sight to behold. As for Bana, he was pretty much the saving grace of both Hulk (2003) and Munich, and not just for taking his clothes off.

Its an okay moving but doing the Trojan war without any gods is just silly and infinitely less interesting then having them present

Yea I am likely far too picky, but Bana just doesn't do it for me. He sort of reminds me of a bird. I would have liked to see Garrett Hedlund take his shirt off more though
