Well, after the ratification of dominion through mental manipulation, I am therefore determined to have been responsible for ALL THE POSTS for about the last twelve years. You may thank me now.

*Facepalm* You do realize that you can see a person's post count and when they joined right under there avatar, thus making asking this question pointless, right? The only reason to ask someone is that you don't want to actual crunch the numbers yourself.

*Facepalm* You do realize I was trying to get a general consensus on whether or not my post average was low not just by numbers, but also by what they had to say.

My posting rate has dropped significantly from a few years ago.
I'm pretty sure I used to have a post rate of nearly 100/day. Or maybe I'm exaggerating.
Day: 27.07
Week: 189.51
Month: 812.2

Going by straight math about 1200, but seeing as I really didn't post often until 2010 its been about 2500 per year the last two.

No idea.
But I believe the guys who are at 10k posts after 3 years or so are cheating with RPs and users groups. I don't join those things because it would make me seem social over the internet, and that I don't like.
What's wrong with being social? Even if it is just with people you don't know?

lol, people aren't in UG just for a higher post count. We chat in them to talk about random shit that you can't just start discussing in the middle of a thread.
Guys guys I am joking xD
There's nothing wrong in being in user groups, I have been in a few but all very inactive althou I've been in one that was active and then just dissapeared (a few months after I joined).
This is why I should learn to throw in the "/sarcasm" mark evry now and then -.-
But I don't think too many care aboiut the post count on this site!?
If you have any nice suggestions on good groups and I haven't come of as a complete dick during my 2k something posts feel free to take contact :p

Ah, I hoped so :p
It's hard to tell here, there are many members of the anti fun brigade around :p.
Well you could search for groups of things you like. If you're a brony, the MLP one or the TF2 group if you like that. Just look here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.384988-The-Great-Related-Chain] and search for any that are cool.

I'll be right back, because I'm too lazy to look directly and will instead make this post, check my post number, and edit the results. Before looking, I'd say that I probably post five to ten comments a day on average, and spend a fair amount of time on this site daily, for the past two or whatever years. It's my biggest source for gaming news short of N4G (which has a terrible commenting system and bias).

Edit: 1668 posts as of January 17 2011.

Damn, I've only been here a year and a half? It feels like so much longer. That means 576 days between account creation and today, with 1668 posts, or about 2.89 posts per day. A little bit less than I imagined, but I guess for several months there was absolutely no news to talk about except for HURR MASS EFFECT 3 SUCKS/DOESN'T SUCK. I can only post about how much the ending sucked so many times before abandoning those threads completely, after all.

I have about 1057 posts a year. A fair number, I'd say.

Ahhh, you came of as someone quite bitter who cares about e-peen :D

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/The-Brovengers

This is the group I'm in, it's very active seeing as we pretty much demolished the 350 page limit. Hell, our last post on the 350th page is from the 25th of July. Plenty of chat goes on in there.

If you want to join I'll tell Daystar or Hazy to accept/invite you.

Wanna join? It's only for kool kidz :D It's just a casual chat about everything and anything and the people in it are nice, it's where I do a lot of my posting now.
Daystar, Hazy and You are actually the users I see the most of, you are usually among the top10 first commenters in most threads I post in also. And the Brovengers Initative is nothing new to me as you've often taken it up in different topics when that rival group of yours (can't remember their name :p) appear.
But yeah, maybe maybe...

N4G is hilarious, I just go to the comments to laugh at them. The fanboy-ism there is insane.

Most people have moved on from the "console wars" and they are still holding up the banner of Sony. "I remember what it was like in 2007, wah wah wah" :D

They all need to wise up. It's the reason N4G is dying. It's not even up to debate, posting has slowed and there are less commments on the front page than ever.

The people to blame are the mods. They are so corrupt it's not even funny.
Oh, definitely. They're the main reason that I'm opposed to a vote system on this very site, because the pandering and bickering and bitching is phenomenal there. I've tried commenting before, but when most replies consist of 'no ur a shtty gamer lern to play good games,' or 'nuh uh, this game is perfct ur and idiot,' I stopped bothering.

About 25 a year. I prefer lurking because threads on here get out of hand quickly or simply too huge to bother. If a thread has like 200+ replies I often don't even bother posting because at that point it probably won't be noticed unless I go out of my way to piss someone off. Which I don't do because that's just not cool.
