What's your "Rep" online?

This may only be for players on Xbox Live (not sure if PSN does the same thing), but what is your Rep on XBL, high or low?

I personally think the whole Rep thing is stupid; I was playing a round of Versus in Left 4 Dead 2 and got downgraded because I didn't have a mic and was reported for Trash Talking of all things ironically.

I only have 3 stars. I dunt know why. I think it started that way. I don't smack talk...I don't really even talk.

Same with me, before heading off to Grad School my brother muted everyone except friends and I never really bothered to change it back

I don't play online because of this reason. People get an exaggerated sense of how good they are because they have all these stars and rep. It's just ridiculous.

The rep system and what it tells you is absolute bullshit.

So apparently around 25% of people I've EVER PLAYED ONLINE WITH have reported me for "Unsporting Behavior"? I can imagine a couple, since I do have a bad habit of telling my team what to do sometimes, but 25%? No way.

Yet I still have 5 stars. No clue whatsoever.

Thanks, I only have a 360 but I didn't want to exclude PS3 owners if they have their own system.


A side note though, I have 5 stars, yet 42% dislike me, 80% of that is from "Unsporting Behavior" and 20% recently from Trash Talk, which I laugh at because I don't talk during games

5 Stars, probably because I enjoy finding people and playing team games with them. Other than That I have no idea why. I usually ignore the gamers info and see how they play.
