I was gonna say I don't have one a few weeks ago, but I get 'hey you're that guy' more often than anyone with my post count has any business getting. So I guess I'm that one guy in the user review forums who makes long, pretentious videos and altogether has to much spare time, as indicated by said show. People reference my crap whenever it's vaguely relevant and I happen to be in the room. And sometimes when I'm not in the room. I don't think people recognize from anything else.

Everywhere else I'm just another talking head who happens to have the most awesomely ironic, hipster username ever. I'M ORIGINAL, BUT IN AN IRONICALLY CLICHED WAY.

....as far as I know I don't have any enemies, and I have some good chums. So I guess I'm doing alright. I hope.

Most people don't really have one, you tend to require something unique about yourself to have one.

People such as Aylaine have a reputation for being ultra friendly. Daystar for not being able to post on topic half the time, some for being trolls that get away with trolling (obviously not saying who).

If you are a regular user who simply posts, stays on topic and doesn't do anything in particularly unusual, then nobody really knows (or seems to care) who you are.

That's the internet and people for you.

Go back about a year and I regularly posted and would have had a fair number of people recognise the avatar. Right now - I'm mostly an unknown that only a few of the older users and forum games regulars remember.

As evidenced by the "Name all the Escapists you can" thread a little while back, no one remembers my name, but everyone remembers my avatar. So clearly I am doing something memorable, but damned if I could tell you what. That or we have a lot of secret Gunners supporters out there.

You're the only one I think here with a Gunner avatar, you're also the one who maybe a month ago mocked me pretty badly in one post (about football of course)

Which by the way, is the single greatest thing on this cites community ever and I love the mods for doing it. But if I helped in some small way, than awesome

I was pleasantly surprised when several people recognised my name at the Expo a few weeks back, I always assumed I was as invisible on here as I am in real life.

I like to think that everyone resents me for missing the expo. Hopefully there will be one next year. As of now though I assume people either just don't know me or don't care about most of the things I say until I give out misinformation.
