AA-12? Good luck with that. I don't want to bring anyone's physical fitness into question, but you guys know, fully loaded, that thing comes in at a whooping 7.3kg, right? That's about the same weight as the M249!

I'd go with something like the Remington 870, self-loading shotguns are tempting, but the last thing you want in any combat situation is a weapon malfunction. When the enemy can quite literally be just around the corner, and you've got a weapon that doesn't work... not a pretty situation, I'm sure you'll agree?
