We all have something that puts us one step ahead of everyone else in certain situations. Whether it is something that you learned how to do, something in your genes, or something that you gained or lost in an accident that ended up being a benefit.

Myself? I have Anisocoria, or unequal pupils, which is caused by a defect in one of two parts of the eye. A defect in one means that the pupil of the affected eye's pupil will not dilate and will generally be small. A defect in the other will cause the pupil to not contract and be rather large instead. I personally have the later. So more often than not I never have pupils at the same size which tends to freak people out. How does this benefit me? Instant low light vision. While other people have to wait for their eyes to adjust to a dark room I can go about my business as I please (Whatever I would be doing in a dark room I have no idea). One problem is that unequal pupils is also a symptom of brain death so if I ever get in an accident and go into a coma then I sure hope someone in my family tells them about this.

I also have accumulated more than a normal amount of empathy from dealing with a large number of people who tended to get violently angry really fast, the closest to me being my father and sister. Sure it wasn't fun dealing with them but now I can pretty much mold someone's mood if I know a bit about them. It gets to the point where taking over the internet and texting puts me at a disadvantage and frustrates me because I am missing out on more than half of the information I am used to.

So, what advantage do you have that separates you from the crowd?

My blood seems to clot noticeably quicker than that of my friends, so that helps a small bit when I get cut.

I would guess a high tolerance of pain, I dislocated my shoulder and elbow at the same time during a street football game, just popped them both back into place and kept playing, only now do i see the error of my ways ;_;

...Okay... I was expecting this to be a "What super power would you like to have" topic that we've seen everywhere. But you're talking IRL.

I have a personality disorder (Well, probably anyway, not officially diagnosed) that means I do not crave social interaction. This benefits me because I don't have to deal with the bullshit that follows having friends.

Forever Alone :)

I think that counts.

I have no depth perception, so I'm immune to all those rubbish 3D movies since all I'd be getting out of them is a headache. Saved me a lot of money lately. Also, the cause of it is due to strabismus, which actually make me immune (as far as I can tell) to hypnotism.

I have that as well, although not for the same reasons. It's why I hate phone calls and other means of communication where I can't see the other(s) directly.

My superpower is that I'm always right. My weakness is that the reality I acknowledge isn't always in my favor.

I have an increased ability to notice things either far left or far right of arc... For example I question things in pictures and footage that others simply dont notice! Most of the people I work with do similar, but it stands out when at home or with my friends.
On the plus side it helps me with my job, and in group planning scenarios can help see flaws in plans quickly and before they come into effect.
On the bad side, however, I struggle to plan things on my own, due to the inability to focus on the main efforts, (Think outside the box too much, and can't make a simple plan to expand on, and it also means that sometimes movies get spoilt easily!

Here, here. 3D movies give me a headache, and strabismus is handy in some cases. I've met some people who cannot keep track of the eye they need to look at, so they keep asking me to look them in the eye and to stop ogling "over there". This is an advantage, because it makes people think I get bored quickly. So they get to the root of the matter a bit quicker around me than with others.

Having Spastic Displasia, the likelihood of my bothering to learn how to drive is also extremely low. Paratransport for the win! No oil changes or car winterizing to worry about!

I never get stressed. My superpower is ABSOLUTE APATHY! Although it means that I also never bother to do anything important until the last minute, and have a really hard time motivating myself. It's beneficial in that I never really get nervous or jittery, and can remain calm in virtually all situations, laughing off misfortune and disaster, which also leads to me cracking jokes at inappropriately serious and tense situations (interestingly I find these are the times when silly puns and dumb observational humour get the biggest laughs. I guess James Bond was really onto something.)

I've got monkey toes. I can pick stuff up with them.

That's all I got.

Oh and possibly I have strong immune system. I haven't gotten properly ill in years.

Hmmm.... I have the ability to move really quietly if I want to, but that's not really a mutation... Oh! I am the Incredible Never-Gains-Any-Weight-No-Matter-How-Much-Crap-I-Eat Man! Bow before my glory!

I get sick very often but it's nearly always much milder than other people would experience.

Either that or everybody else just whines way more than necessary.

I can clap with one hand,
I can pick up anything with my toes,
I can reach ten keys apart on the piano,
And I can suffocate myself with my upper lip.

I'm double-jointed in my elbows, and have (or had, since I put on some weight; damn you college!!!) near-contortionist levels of flexibility.

Uh..my eyes also slightly change color over time in a cycle (green -> hazel -> blueish -> hazel REPEAT). I'm pretty sure they aren't supposed to do that.

...Yeah. It's pretty damn boring.
