Obviously, this is in reference to the DS game of the same title, but I'm quite curious to know what other people think of the game's namesake.

The game seems to suggest that the quote is a call to action for people to accept others differences and use those differences as a catalyst for change. However, I would go as far as to say that it also means that one must put genuine effort into any endeavor they take on and persevere through any obstacles, thus pushing them (and therein their world's) boundaries farther than ever before.

Both lines of thought can also be applied to the last words seen in the game's secret ending...

The World Begins With You

I look forward to reading what others have to say!

I'm guessing it refers to Death. The epistemological idea that that sensual experience creates existence would entail that Death, which is oblivion, would also end the world. My death will end the world.

EDIT: Also, never heard of the DS title before. Not a big DS fan.

Nothing so complicated. It's Solipsism.

Wait no, wrong word. The idea that you can only be sure of the existence of what you observe, so when you cease to observe, the universe ceases to be.

Whatever that's called.

I think that everyone has their own personal world where everyone else is merely a character and noone else has any thought outside contact with the 'main character' so when they die the world ends with them. (basicaly made up as it is impossible to comprehend what is going on inside someone elses world or what happens when we die. It seems that we are the only characters with real 'life' as we cant understand anything going on outside of our own feild of senses. if this is true; why the hell did I create such a shit world?)

Well firstly I think they're quoting Motorhead but then remember that that is 'The World is Yours'. I guess it's trying to say that the world ends due to their actions, or possibly the world ends with them when they die.

Its referring to the fact that the second that you die the world ends because you can no longer experience it.

Has anybody here actually played the game The World Ends With You? You're all entitled to your opinion, but I was more trying to get people's opinions of the quote given the context of the game (which has nothing to do with death).
