Just about everyone has one. I throw in "you know" a little too much, especially when trying to gather my thoughts. But, they say that's just as bad as saying "uh" a lot. What's yours?

I use "zeg maar" a lot (in Dutch). Sometimes twice in a single sentence. Usually I don't even notice it, but when I pay attention to it I feel like a retard because I really say it constantly.

Not entirely sure how I'd accurately translate its meaning in English... :(

When i'm saying things I usually end it with I think, so people can't say that I 100% told them bla bla bla was true.

It's been a long standing habit of mine to begin responses where I disagree with, "well...".

Yeah, I say anyways or anyhow or anywho a lot. Ugh, I'm awful at speaking. Give me a keyboard!

I say "like" a lot.

Not as much as a regular teenager but its once at least every 5 paragraphs.

And "that's just my opinion" just so when I tell people something, they can't really get that pissed off if they disagree.

Whenever I start a sentence I have two or three false starts before I get the whole thing out. This usually happens in conversations with two or more people. Since I've never been a good judge of when to add my input I usually end up speaking a half second too early or too late and will either be interrupting somebody or speaking at the same time as someone else. This tends to de-stabilize my oration and I end up repeating the first few words until I finally push the whole sentence out. I'm pretty sure this has happened to most people but for me it's nearly every single time I speak up. "You know I- You know I- You know I- have something to say." is how it usually goes.

Well, usually when I mess up a sentence or I'm answering a question, I tend to say "Well...". I suppose I kinda picked it up watching Doctor Who.

Also, I add "apparently" onto my sentences just in case I'm wrong.
I call it my sentence insurance.

Oh yeah, and I frequently say "Ja" instead of Yes.
