Ponies. I like both the show and the culture around it, but Bronie culture from an anthropological perspective fascinates me. It would help my research by years if I could only figure out if some really do have a sexual attraction to the ponies. A couple say they do, but i can't tell if they're joking.
Based on some pictures of Big Macintosh and Fluttershy I've seen online (pretty NSFW), I'd say some people do.
If you're curious, just image search Fluttershy with safesearch off.

OT: i too am a people watcher. strangely i prefer to be alone.

Is loving anthropomorphism and loving the idea of it considered weird?

If so...I love anthropomorphism.
its not. i have a furry webcomic after all.
so theres that.

plus i make WAY too many sexual jokes. today, i annoyed someone so much he said "i'm going to smash you!" so i said:
"what are you going to do, smash my back doors in?"
that shut him up.

Cleaning my M4. Regular cleaning (my room, the tent in general, policing up doneage after a fire mission) doesn't appeal too much. But when it comes to my rifle, it gives me a very zen calm. Maybe it's because of how meticulous you have to be to get it squeaky-clean, maybe it's because I'm maintaining a piece of equipment that could be vital to my existence, but it's still a rather enjoyable activity, even though it's something I do once in a great while.

I find it a little strange that I get a charge out of helping others with computer problems. I'm one of the tech guys in my platoon, and when someone comes to me with any kinda computer question, my brain starts doing a little dance. A few weeks back my section chief's laptop crapped out, and even though he was a tech-support headache, I still really enjoyed identifying, attempting to trouble-shoot the problem, and laying out the alternatives since his computer (the HDD, to be specific) was beyond saving.
Furthermore, I even go so far as to fantasize (I'd be fooling myself if I used any other word) about helping others buy or build a new computer, given certain imaginary limitations.
Incidentally, I qualified this as only a "little" strange, since computer savvy is in my family, especially my father. I just take after my old man like that, I suppose.

If I walk past a group of people I imagine how I would go about dispatching them something start up

eg: throw bag at face of tough looking one, push one perched on wall off wall, duck wild swing from final guy and punch in knee then kick tough looking one before he recovers.

Never had to use it yet, but one day I may be thankful... Either that or I run away like a pansy.

I don't know why, but there's just something about those wrinkles....
As far as weird things go that is pretty high up on the list. Oh well, whatever works for you.
It was a joke, but there are probably some people who actually enjoy that.
Right, of course. Don't worry about it though. You can do whatever you feel like you in your spare time as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah. It was pretty much a "What's the weirdest and nonsensical yet completely believable thing I can come up with?" situation.

I have a few weird tics. Partially a habit, partially because it's a problem, I make a sound like I'm clearing my throat rather frequently. Sometimes it's partially my habit, others because there is something in my throat that is really bothering me.

I have a habit of biting my shirt sometimes. "Childish", I know, but it's a habit that only really recently showed up for no real reason. Maybe stress...

Edit: Hm, sort of misconstrued the topic for some reason.

I suppose to some people that I listen to music with Japanese Vocals a lot, and that I like anime, A LOT might be weird to some people. Mostly when people notice how I usually use anime girls as avatars and whatnot. What's so wrong about that? Are men always supposed to have men as avatars and vice verse with women?

murder, I find murder, the act of and the subsequent consequences interesting. I'm not gonna start killing, but studying past cases that's my interest.

Oh and The life of Hasan-bin-Sabah, I must own 15 copies of Alamut, all in different languages.

Well, ponies has popped up enough times on this list that it's clearly considered weird, regardless of how relatively mainstream it may have become, so I'll say that for completeness' sake. I would snuggle the shit out of Fluttershy.

Aside from that, my weird interest is...weirdness. I love all kinds of random esoterica. Anything off the wall or unusual, I want to know about it.

Also, non-malicious trolling. Gentle sarcasm is just my default means of interacting with the world.

Surprisingly, I found far less Fluttersmut than I expected. There may be hope after all.
