We've all been there. It's a team based game, and a player is being a dipshit, resulting in your defeat and lulz for the other team.

So I'm playing BFBC2 Vietnam (Amazing add on, btw) on Operation Hastings (conquest) and I'm in the gunner seat of a chopper. The pilot is being a complete noob; he's just hovering low to the ground over the C flag like a confused toddler, and I'm screaming over my mic that he's gonna get us killed doing that and that a tank can rape us without even trying; and that he needs to gain altitude and move around. He ignores the pleas of me and my squadmates, and I realize that he can't hear me because he's not in my squad. A tank rolls around the corner as I scream random vowels in rage as I try to eject, but the explosion kills me as I exit the chopper. I facepalmed so hard that my skull became powder, and subsequently screamed a wide plethora of obscenities because some asshole in a tank just got himself a quintuple kill.

So Escapists, what have been your close encounters with the stupid?

I've played 3 MMO's, I've met a depressingly huge amount of the stupid. But I'll talk about L4D2, I was in a group with one guy who just followed me but never attacked and screamed his little boy lungs out whenever he got attacked. Let's just say I kept feeding him to the tank.

Play League of Legends.
I rest my case.

The solution to your problem Kadoodle, is to not fly with that guy again. Unfortunately, playing League of Legends most of the time is like being that chopper, but you simply have no way to eject/jump out of the helicopter for the next 40 minutes or so while everyone throws swear words and Spanish at you as you try to fight until the very end to make that 40 minutes worth-wile with a victory. So not only you don't have the choice to switch the match without being penalized (and then auto-banned) but you cannot blacklist the idiots - once in a while you will end up with an idiot with the new set of idiots and you resume playing the game while continuously raging.

I still like this game though.

Uncountable times on TF2.
Unfortunately it's usually Medics that don't know who to take priority over. I.E. Soldier that's good and can defend him if he gets attacked OR A Heavy that camps the spawn... Oh no, not the enemy spawn, the *ALLIED* spawn, oh yes.
Even more frustrating is when you're on a roll, pwning n00bs 'n' such and you have what appears to be a fairly competent healer and he's all like 'I am fully charged!' and you're all 'Awesome, let's do this thing.' and you round a corner to two sentries and a heavy and you're like 'UBER ME BRO! LET'S PWN THESE DUDES!' but oooooooh no, he's content to NOT uber me and instead just let me get completely ass-troyed by these goons and then, to add insult to injury, he then goes and gets himself killed, losing his uber and making himself look like a tit.

*seethe, seethe*

I also hate healing soldiers with the Direct Hit, for some reason none of the ones I heal that use it can do any good. It makes me sad.

Happens to me all the time in Team Fortress 2 as a Spy. I'll be getting ready to backstab an unaware Heavy when a friendly Pyro lights him up from behind. The Heavy subsequently whips around and ventilates both of us.

Even worse is if I'm cloaked hiding in a corner behind enemy lines and a teammate RUNS TO THE EXACT SAME CORNER. He draws fire, my cover is blown, we both die, I chew the idiot out.
