Okay, I've got one.

Bit of background, first. You have five characters whose lives are bound to that of the last of the Nodos, a race of spacefaring giants with the power to destroy worlds and the instinct to battle to the death. There are only five of them remaining BECAUSE their race killed one another in such an event. It took an even-stronger race to seal them up into five intelligent beings to temper their power with a little common sense. The protagonist is one-such person.

Enter Yuty Lah, a woman capable of transforming into a Nodos that consumes matter and energy into a void where they will perish in extreme entropy, a power all but inescapable. She is the most powerful antagonist in the series, more-so than the three other Nodos working for her by order of her race and the Golden Race that preceded them. One of the other Nodos, Karkinos, is a heavy regenerator charged with protecting Yuty with his life.

Somewhere deep inside her emotion-suppressed mind, Yuty likes Karkinos. His devotion, despite her race enslaving his, is admirable. He's dedicated to the task. She can't admit or even consider that she has feelings for him. The practices of her race forbids it, even though being Nodos means that she is different. However, during a battle where she was wildly out of control fighting the main character, she accidentally kills Karkinos.

I don't have a clip. I wish I had a clip. It is an epic scene in a show with ALOT of epic scenes. Yuty - in Nodos form - watches Karkinos dissolve, and then she lets out an incredibly-pained howl right before a void distortion wave expands in all directions, taking out an entire gigantic sector of space and everything in it!

Lord Hater's meltdown in the Season 2 opener of Wander Over Yonder:

(starts at 0:45)

Imagine you're the greatest villain in the galaxy. You've mangled the minds of millions, tempted forth torrential tides of tears and reduced the richest of republics to rubble and ruin. Then some do-gooder in a dumb hat and his trusty dino-horse show up and foil you at every turn with the power of friendship (ugh).

You become obsessed with this Wander, spending all your resources chasing him across the cosmos in a futile attempt to defeat him. In the meantime you plummet to 29th greatest in the galaxy as you steadily lose territory to rivals. Then to top it all off some unknown supervillain (who's totally super-cool) accomplishes in a few minutes what you spent an entire season trying to do. I'd be royally pissed too if I were in his shoes.

Plus, this is the one time in the show thus far where the audience is ROOTING for Lord Hater. I know I was, but that could be my bias showing.

HATE'S GREAT, BEST VILLAIN!

I would probably go with the breakdown in the Rise from the ashes case in the first Phoenix Wright game:

Closely followed by this one from the same game, the case is Turnabout goodbyes:

I love all the breakdowns from the Ace attorney series, but these two really stick in my head. It probably helps that the original Ace attorney game is my favourite in the whole series.

I think I already mention this in the last villain breakdown thread is Aizen from Bleach.

When he was presented as true villain, he always acted so calm and collective and once he finally imprision and with no way he can get out of it at all, he finally break down.

It doesn't matter... as long as it is played by Alan Rickman or Gary Oldman...

Stansfield,
Sherrif of Nottingham,
Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg,
Hans Gruber,
Ivan Korshunov

All bloody good!
