Nope. 3 years old, and mine is still spinning pretty. Mostly because i install my discs to the hard drive to keep it from spinning. Saves wear and tear.

Either this is a very subtle troll, or he is sick of his breakbox (my consoles nick name). Either way, I didn't give up, and stuck at it, and it works now.

My husband has had his since before we were together. It had to be sent in a couple times, but it still keeps going. Installing the discs is the way to go.

Mine through itself out the window. Strange, but I had forced it to play Vampire rain for a bet.

I gave microsoft 2 more chances after my first 360 decided to "let go of the disk" in the drive and let it spin round like Sonic the damn hedgehog, shatter my copy of FIFA 08 and crack the lens
and the other 2 were red rings

according to my PS3's gamestation warranty, I gave up on the 360 on the 17th April 2009 at 14:23

lol, thats accuracy for ya

A very loaded question you ask.

With Forza 3 out earlier this week, why would I want to give up on my 360, which is brand new thanks to the generosity of the people at the service center? (Or possibly the total mess that was my first 360?)

I never gave up on mine. I just share my time across the PS3 and 360 since buying a PS3.

I own a wii and had my heart set on the 360 being my next console, that changed to PS3 with the price drop and finding out all the games I wanted were cross platform.
