When Did You Stop Playing Cookie Clicker?

I played for a little, cheated and got everything, silly amount of cookies per second, loads of worm things chewing on the cookies, all the upgrades and stuff ... so I killed the game.

Then a few months later started on clicker hero's, no idea why but now I am 1878 hours into it, oops! I have stopped playing though, just got bored of it.

After 15 minutes or so, when it dawned on me that it was nothing but one big Skinner Box. If I'm going to grind away at something for hours, it'd better have a more tangible reward than more grinding.

I think I tried it once for a couple of minutes, I never got hooked.

i dont remmeber the name of the last item you can purchase now, but i had around 200 of them. i was raking in trllions of cookies per second, fending of alien beasts and enjoying the eldrich horrors of cookie production.

I never got around to Cookie Clicker, I'm still playing Progress Quest [http://progressquest.com/]. What's even better is that I get the same outcome and I still get to use my mouse to do other things.

i think i just found my new drug, help.

I think I'd just gotten that one upgrade that the game warns you can't be undone no matter what. If you've played, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If not, why spoil the fun?

I unintentionally broke my first mouse... So, after unintentionally breaking the second mouse, I stopped cold turkey...

I almost got back in with Sakura Clicker, but settled with Sakura Fantasy because there would be WAY less clicking than needed...

I think I stopped after the quadrillions or something like that. I found a similar but better game via Steam called Adventure Capitalist. Same concept, better execution -- and music. Plus they do special holiday events and there's cards and whatnot, you get the picture. If you liked Cookie Clicker I highly recommend checking it out, but play at your own risk because it's just as addicting.

I didn't even knew this type of thing existed... and now it runs on my work PC...

I now know what will be running in the background on my shifts!

I managed to get out of the habit, then my son clicked a few of those fuckers and got me right back on the wagon. I was just about to get out of it again when v2.0 was released and I got suckered fully back in. Currently it's sitting on just under 1 decillion cookies, with all upgrades, all but three Prestige upgrades and all but five achievements. It feels like the end is finally in sight. I reckon on this run I can get to 300 Prisms and then I'm just leaving that sucker running until it's done.
