When I grow up, I want to be a....

Simple question that everyone's been asked or at least thought of; "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Or just what career do you want.

My parents have been bugging me recently with what career I want and what I want to do with my life and since I couldn't really think of an answer other than "actor, writer or game designer" I thought I should ask the Escapist.

And if you already have a career, what is it and do you like it?

As I said before, I'd want to be an actor and I'm currently going to film school.

If that fails, then I'd want to be a graphic designer.

So far, either a cook, waiter thype thing, or delivery guy for an outdoor food place in Japan. The place also seems to have a thin rust colored fog around it, and seems to make plenty of Shrimp Fried Rice.

Not a classy job, not a high paying job, but the boss would be a good guy who you could pal around with every now and again and lunch would be free.

Don't ask why, but I love the idea of that.

Well the lunch doesn't have to be free, it would most likely be the Shrimp Fried Rice I mentioned, so it hopefully wouldn't cost much.

Honestly, i dont care what it pays or anything like that, just that i enjoy it. Employment isnt the biggest thing for me. Im more worried about finding people to spend my life with.

I don't know all the rules, have never skated on ice in my life, have a bum knee and am getting too old and fat. So I can't see that happening somehow.

I may only be 17, but all my life, I've never had an answer to that. Even now, as I left school and started alternative learning methods, I still don't. There isn't one job, one career, not one damned thing I have both the interest and the means of becoming said career.

If I had to pick, it would be a Mixed Martial Artist. I have the interest, but not the means. Mainly because everyone who has an interest where I live is either a Stoner or annoying as fuck.
