Meh, so long as I'm alive, I'll be playing games to some degree. Probably not as much as I do now, but screw it.

As long as good stories are still being told through games, I'll be playing until my dying day.

Or when I go blind. That would probably do it too.

Maybe, maybe not. It really depends on how good games are, and how we play them. I personally don't like the Wii mostly for it's controller so if games adapt those controllers into their evolution then I'll probably abandon consoles. I'm not sure if I will be able to give up RTSes though. Hell by then AoE will be on an emulator.

Hell, maybe in a few years.
Everyone is free to leave the cult this life as they please. All you have to so is walk through the minefield front door.

NO ONE CAN PLAY GAMES WHEN THEY ARE 64, BECAUSE WE WILL ALL DIE IN 2012, IT'S THE TRUTH YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME!!

I can't see myself playing games when I am 64, it's just a bit hard to imagine.

Luckily, I am immune to explosions.
And brainwashing.

And Jedis.
Too bad you aren't immune to lightsabers and shrapnel. You would be set to leave any cult you want.

Yeah, I'll still be gaming however I wonder if I could cope with any new console releases and such. Might just stick to the PS3, if they still exist. Which I doubt they would.

Unless I get arthritis in my hands, I think I'll still be playing video games.

Kinda hoping I'll be dead by 64. I view it as a preferable alternative to my body failing me.

Seriously, I'm terrified of getting old for that reason.
Really? I'm more terrified of my mind failing me. Alzheimer's, Senile Dementia, etc

Would not virtual reality games require you to get up? You'd have to be some kind of fit to play effectively.

I've thought about this - all those 'tap the A button madly' minigame bits are going to fuck us up good and proper unless you can get your mits on a vintage turbo pad.

Wouldn't think so, xbox would probably have red ringed and i would probably be too afraid to get too high blood pressure and die.

You'll probably die of a massive visual stimulation buildup seizure by then, seeing as your a gamer and all.

But if you make it to that age, why not? I am going to be buried with my xbox.
