Being of 16 years old, I have a tendency to wake up very late, lets say, roughly, 3pm. At which point, my mum has usual gone out or is busy in nag mode. So I ask the members of the escapist, if I wake up around 1 say, is it lunch or breakfast? And when is it too late to have breakfast?

It's NEVER to late for a nice plate of french toast and bacon!
I must concur. And if you run out of french toast, there are always pancakes and waffles.

Never too late for Breakfast, thats why Dennys, Waffle House and even the lesser known Huddle House are all opens 24 hours a day. And honestly...who cares about ANYTHING besides breakfast at those restaurants?

If it's your first meal in's breakfast.

Even if it's 4pm and you're eating Chinese take away, it's still going to be breakfast.

Therefore it is never too late.

You wake up at 3pm.

Umm, what is wrong with you? If your mom is nagging at you over it, then she is clearly a good mother and you Sir need to listen to her.

3pm... sheesh. Freaky sleeping rythm much?

And yeah, if it's lunchtime, then it's no longer breakfast.

Hah. Breakfast is for... people who like breakfast?

Yeah I don't eat breakfast but I'd say after about 1pm things become lunch, since thats when I start to get hungry.

I always have a bowl of cereal or two after I wake up, and it's always breakfast, even if it's 5pm.

Also, when you pull an all-nighter, it's not officially the next day until you decide to eat breakfast. So 5am Saturday morning can just be really late Friday night, but then if you eat some breakfast at 6am, it rolls over to Saturday.

Them's the rules. (Because I said so!)

For me, NEVER! I eat breakfast for supper, sometimes.
According to McDonalds though breakfast ends @ 10:30, or 11 on weekends.

@fix-the-spade is technically correct, though, because any time you break your fast it's breakfast ;D

Breakfast for me is never too late, whenever you wake up, be it 6am or 6pm. Its all on how you live your life style...but, I would say you should have it within at least 2 hours of waking up.

I'm a Uni student, as such normal routines are a thing of the past. So far my record for late breakfasts is having Wednesday's breakfast at 4am on a Thursday. Technically it was from Wednesday, as I hadn't slept yet.. :D

So, in answer to your question, it is never too late to have breakfast.

My condolences. But even with only 3 hours of sleep, you could sleep that during the night/early morning, instead of at the middle of the day. But if you want to waste the hours of the day sleeping, you're naturally welcome to it.

And insomniac or not, it's freaky. You have an excuse, sure, but still freaky.

Breakfast is the most common to include Bacon. As we all know, Bacon is the MOST MOST MOST important food ever, in the history of ever. And eating. But mostly ever. With this in mind, it is never to late, for bacon.

Wait, breakfast? Nah. Never to late for breakfast either. Or early! BACON!
