This list only consists of 2 things so far but I am willing to add to it.

At the end of Old Yeller.

While listening to "Riding with private Malone" by David Ball (which btw, if you have not listened to, do it, soon, away from people who can see/hear you)

So... Give me yours...

At no point is this supposed to degenerate into a "Men can cry, it's ok now you insensitive bastard" thread. Men aren't supposed to cry - it's how I was raised. I once asked my dad if it was ok to cry sometimes and he punched me in the crotch.

Whenever.

As long as it's a manly sob.

Preferably with an 'Epic No', with falling to your knees and looking up at the sky.

I'm fine with guys crying. They can cry whenever they feel like it, but I just wouldn't like them doing it all the time.

Then again, I don't like when anyone cries because they usually come to me for comfort, and I hate that.

When his wife is strapped to a nuclear missile by time-traveling Nazis and launched at a group of communists / terrorists that his eldest son is secretly infiltrating. And then his dog dies.

And that is the ONLY time.

That is fine.

Being punched in the jolly roger by your dad seems like a fair time as well.

Other than that, never.

If that's a Xmas avatar, I'm crying right now.
That's what I thought.

Also, I teared up at the end of "Letters From Iwo Jima". But it's ok, film was directed by Clint Eastwood,so it's totally manly to cry.

Whenever he feels like it.

I don't buy into that macho asshole bullshit. I personally prefer to laugh (no matter what weird looks I get) but a guy should be able to cry whenever he wants.
