Any of the last three of my summers. The dramatic shift from scrambling like a mad dog to try to get school under control to having no responsibilities is an incredible feeling.

Aaah imperial college :D I dunno if it still happens but going towards there was a popular hotspot for smoking (of the illegal kind), anyways, your college looks quite fancy from the outside.

Next time you pass by cromwell road, take a peek inside the lycee (there's a little roundabout from where you can peek over the gates. The area which has the french cinema (anyone can access that area from the other side) is the kindergarden section and that actually looks kinda nice.

Look from the main gates though, and see how much of a prison the school looks like T_T

Ah yes, but if you think IC looks quite fancy, take a few steps in and have a look at the chemistry building... ominous, to put it nicely. The other buildings are... OK, the Tanaka Building, being just a glass... place, pretty, mind.

However, remembering that school, definitely, it is very imposing from the front... though less in a prison way and more in a cathedral way... IMO.

And you want prison? The old halls of residence just opposite the vehicle entrance to IC were actually designed by a prison architect with anti-riot measures. A tad overkill, don't you think?!

It was pretty rough for me until highschool. Highschool was pretty much the only time when my friends were trustworthy and wouldn't move off to other schools and my marks were pretty good too. anybody who says i'm lying can go cry in a corner emo kid, this was my happiest time not yours.

Although the trip that i had to Quebec was the most happy i'd ever been at ounce not long term.

When I was a child, before I purposely immersed myself in hatred and paranoia towards others. I'm trying get out of it, but it's not easy.

Thus far, I believe it was when my girlfriend and I wisely abandoned an atrocious school dance and instead opted to lie on the sports field together and look at stars. Also, compounding the awesomeness was the fact that the teacher-chaperone completely looked the other way, probably because he sympathized with our goal of getting away from blaring pop music.

Will have to come down to south ken one of these days and check out IC more closely xD It's been years since I had cause to go back there.

Lol at prison architect, it does make sense for him to use the full range of his skills I suppose :p Associating art with practicality, talk about value for money! Now the teaching staff can hold off a siege of angry students if need to be.

As for the cathedral facade, yah it looks decent from that direction, plus opposite a sweet museum.
Inside though, tis a sea of grey and cement with nay a greenery in sight :(

Also friending.

I have had two happy periods during my life (I am 29 now):

1. Age 14-16 when I lived solely with my dad. His domain was the basement, so I had the other two floors of the house all to myself. After years of having to defer tv-watching rights to my mum and sister, I could watch what I wanted, when I wanted on the tv, AND play SNES whenever I wanted to. The top floor of our house contained my drum set, so I could play that whenever I wanted to as well.

2. My sister moved away to another country when I was 16, and although I didn't think too much of it at the time, it hit me very soon that not being able to see her was like having a missing limb. I was reunited with her when I was 17, and we spent the whole summer hanging out and that was truely awesome.

Same... live/study/work(sort of) in Brighton currently. Still, one of my mates keeps trying to get me to go to the Science Museum... apparently a few new exhibits.

Anyway, I never really paid much attention to my surroundings around there, I'll have to check out this school at some point. Making me think of a private school around where I live which is in one of the shittiest London boroughs, has an icky external facade, and a dick of a headmaster while my sisters were there. Weirdly, I taught my sister stats from a book written by their head of maths (also used in school)...

I won't depress you about my school (geographically one of the largest in the south east for its student population).

I recently spent a week with my gf. Sure, we had to deal with some of her family, but we pretty much had a week of nothing but nonstop spending time together (not all in dirty ways >.>). We had a really good time, and I look forward to doing it again sometime in the near future.
Thats odd; whenever that sort of thing comes up it usually leads to a topic about it from you. =p
I've been thinking about posting another one up soon, so don't worry. I promise I won't disappoint. XD

I suppose my recent one was a couple of years ago when I stay over at my brother place in London for the weekend since we were both attendign the MCM Expo (Anime convention).
It was my first time going to that type of convention and I was blown away by it. Also it was fun with my bro showing me places in London. Overall I had enjoyed my experiences down over there.

Hm, this is a really good question.

I think it was the first time I won a fight against my dad. I don't mean an argument. I mean a fight. He had me pinned on the floor, but I managed to free one arm, grab his fingers, and bend them backwards, dislocating a couple. It surprised him, he yelled in pain and got off me.
I had always wanted to hurt him, but for some reason I couldn't stop crying.

Best and worst day of my life.
