I was in shock earlier playing through Brood War's Protoss campaign.

I go through 2 bases in 5 minutes after beginning my attack and I already reached the Overmind? Mission end? Why was that so easy?

Also 6 of my Zerglings and 3 hydralisks took down an Ultralisk with no casualties without me even noticing they were under attack until it was over. What the fuck!

Knights of the Old Republic. That was bought for me when I was but a wee young lad, and I knew nothing about gaming and had never heard of Bioware. It rocked my world. I often say that Halo: CE is what introduced me to true games, but KOTOR is what made me into a gamer.

"x-men, the official game" had one suprisingly redeeming quality that made up for an otherwise typical movie based game... Nightcrawler levels.
seriously, if someone makes a game based on the Nightcrawler mechanics from that game, but bigger levels, better story, and maybe some more combo moves, they will have my money faster than [insert strange analogy for quickness] on roller skates.

a little game called Lumines.
If you have the right model of PSP with a certain kind of firmware (there's ways to downgrade), you can use specail save files with Lumines to hack your PSP, so you can download entire games onto it. But you wouldn't do that, because piracy is bad M'kay.
And if any mods ask, you didn't hear all of that from me...

OT:

KOTOR 1, but I did just beat last weekend.
Wait, so I'm actually ********!

I guess Dawn of War 2 turned out to be completely different from what I imagined it to be. That's why I gave up on it; too different from the original.

well, I have three recent ones

Cryostasis' ending was really fulfilling and satisfactory to me, I legitimately felt that I did something good *self esteem is for everybody*

the graphics of Odin Sphere, my god does that game look amazing, so well animated and so colorful, especially for being all hand drawn

and Crysis 2, just for the feel of freedom that I had, which, for some reason, felt better than in the original Crysis. Hell, it basically surprised me whenever I bumped into an invisible wall in Crysis 2
