I sleep, I have no energy for anything else. The longest I've gone without food is only a day but I have gone an entire 4 days on a tiny paper cup of peanut better and felt fine the entire time.

What happens to you if you go an extended period of time without food?(As in more than 24 hours.)

I have only done this once. I went two days without food and by the beginning of the first day I could barely stand and was shaking pretty badly.

By far the strangest thing that happened was when I fell asleep like this. I dreamed about a sniper on a wooden platform attached to a wall. This platform would peridically begin to spin very rapidly and the sniper would stay on. Every time I tried to think how this was physically possible I would get a massive headache.

This somehow morphed into a dream of Confederate soldiers trying to hide from the Union behind a giant gallbladder.
One day isn't that bad. When you start pushing three though, it just seems impossible to do anything.

well, I've survived two days on 4 pieces of toast before... generally speaking, starving myself generally means I'm depressed or pissed off. I get hyper if I starve for some reason, so maybe thats why I do so.

Thursday I ate a sandwhich and some toast. Friday, I ate a packet of crisps and a teacake before meeting my boyfriend. I was falling asleep on the train and had to drink water to stop myself from fainting.
I rarely eat meals, just snakes at meal times, like a sandwich. My bodies got used to not having large amounts of food, so it doesn't bother me too much, but small portions of food fill me up.
You eat snakes?

I've never really timed my self. I don't get angry or sad just really really hungry.

Once I forgot to eat for about 20 hours or so and I had some of my friends over and I keeled over and puked without any warning. I then went and ate 2 sandwiches and a big-ass brownie and felt even more sick for the next hour.

Hmm... probably a couple of days or so. I've done this quite regularly so it's hard to pinpoint what the longest time was, plus I can go for a scarily long time just drinking coffee.

At my last job I was basically living in less than a meal a day because I didn't have time to eat. By the time I finished work I was completely shattered and had to be back at the wretched place in 5-6 hours so needed to snatch all the sleep that I could, so understandably couldn't be bothered cooking (especially since that's what I had been doing all day).

Also, getting messed up on drugs does nothing for your appetite, unless you're smoking weed.

Now I am, by comparison, a much healthier human being.
