I happily take it and use it for some time then I'd either give it to my younger relatives, give it to my friend for their birthday or OFF TO TRADEME.
Just like the time my grand-parents got me SupCom. Even though it was a game that had elements that I disliked I just took it and played it for some time then BAM. I decided to put it on TradeMe but right now I just can't be bothered.

I am a horrible person, putting on a charade of nicety. I find every gift incredibly dissappointing even if i wanted it. Mainly because it isn't very thoughtful to just get me what i ask but also because to get me something else would be to deliberately go against what i want.

Alternative theory (my god i use the word alternative alot). I am inept socially and am not good at expressing gratitude so no matter what present i get i end up faking my emotions.

Alternative theory 2 (told you). The pressure put on the gift receiver (me) makes me emotionally void except for anxiety, so i force an emotion that i think is appropriate.

I am all for Alternative Theory 2.
