Well the bathroom is basically a straight line from my bedroom (and bed) so I don't realy have to even turn on the lights.

I either wander in the dark, or the Sun's coming up anyway.

I'm up all night anyway, it's my productive time of day. As a result, I have great night-vision.

If its really dark I'll cluck my tongue and listen for the echo. The less the echo the closer I am to a wall. Helps walk in the dark, but you still stumble over everything small.

I walk back, because I live here and I have no reason to be scared of the place. I'll almost always stub my toe on the skirting boards though, which kind of sucks.

I use the flash light on my phone until I get to the bathroom and turn that light on. Then I'll turn my flash light back on before I turn the light off and make a quick move back to bed.

I never used to be like this in the night, I used to very nocturnal and enjoy it, the past 2 years it's really bugged me though D:

It depends. My bathroom is pretty much next door to me. So I casually walk with my hands in front of me.

If I'm going downstairs for a glass of milk? I can walk through my house in the dark pretty well, until I get to the kitchen, I switched the light on, had my milk, turned the light off and then I sprint back to my bed so that the devil doesn't drag me to hell.

I tend to enjoy the dark... unless I am looking at my computer screen because it kinda strains my eyes.

I do have to be quiet though, and since I am clumsy I walk slowly and always feel around everywhere.

Also, the floor creaks like hell. I hate it.

The only time I've ever run back to bed is when I'm camping and it's cold as hell (like, frost on my sleeping bag cold).

Usually I either leave the lights off to see in the dark, or just use a mental map of the house to navigate if I've turned the lights on then off.

Of course these days it's so trivial that I never give it much thought, because my bathroom door is only a few feet away from my bed.

I only hit the lights if I can't find something I need.
Otherwise, I refrain from using them to avoid waking up anyone else who may still be sleeping.

I flush, keep the door shut and hang around a bit to keep the noise contained as I don't want to wake my flat mates or family depending on where I'm living, than when the worst of the sound is gone I walk back as it's normally pitch black and I'm relying on spacial awareness.

My house isnt THAT dark when I get up to use the bathroom or get a drink. When I do go downstairs and get something from the kitchen I dash over to the light switch. It is always complete darkness in my kitchen for some reason. And even then I still hear weird creaking noises when I stand there and get a drink. It may just be my house making a slight creaking noise...but its kinda imposible to not be paranoid about this.
