When you wake up

Where are the blankets? I mean they could be where you left them, on the floor, under the cat/dog, all under the ownership of anyone else in the bed, ect. Damn it I must know where your blankets are when you wake up.

Mine tend to be 1/2 on the floor/with the cat 1/2 with me. Where are your blankets in the morning?

They tend to be on top of me.
When I was littler they tended to be half on the bed and half on the floor with not even an inch touching me.

I don't move around much in my sleep, so they tend to stay on top of me. I have an asshole roommate though who likes to crank the heat WAAAAAAAAY up in the middle of night, and since I seriously CANNOT sleep when it's warm as balls, I usually wake up panting and have to remove a layer or two before I go turn the heat completely off as a big "fuck you" to him.

OT: The duvet is mostly on top of me...along with the bedsheets most of the time. I spin around quite a lot when I sleep. >.>

Also, I sometimes find my pillow pushed off the end of the bed.

The duvet is usually in the same place but I have to have a double so that I can trap it against the wall with the bed so that I don't throw it off. I always have to pull the sheet back into position and one of the three pillows that I have usually ends up being squashed in between the bed and the other wall.

Most of the time my duvet is curled around me. Exceptions include hot weather where they could go anywhere

Depends. If it was a hot night I might choose to just use a top sheet, so the quilt is neatly folded at my feet - because I'm a fancy bastard like that. Mind you, even when it's cool, I usually find them almost exactly where I left them - because I'm a fancy bastard like that.

Uh...on top of me? They're there for warmth and comfort, so it doesn't make much sense not to sleep under them.

Most often I'm completely wrapped up in it, only having my head and possibly an arm exposed. Can't really fall asleep unless it's like that for some reason. Even if it's hot as fuck and even though I prefer having my torso and legs free.
Sometimes I wake up during the night because of the heat. Toss the duvet away and fall back to sleep. Still wake up with the damn thing covering me.

Perhaps it's alive and feeds on my sweat.

I get cold at night, sometimes to the point of keeping me from sleeping.

More or less where I left them. I layer up enough so that I don't really curl up in them unless it's really cold. In the summer though? usually under or beside me.
