I'm pretty sure that since Desmond is the main character of the AC franchise, his story will keep going as long as the series does.Sun Flash said:Honestly? I'd like Desmond's story to finish pretty soon, just to get him out of the way.
And obligatory Victorian London. Seriously, GET ON IT UBISOFT.
Why finish Desmond's story? That's the main story behind it all.Sun Flash said:Honestly? I'd like Desmond's story to finish pretty soon, just to get him out of the way.

There is another plot device that they have in Project Legacy that Assassin's Creed could take on and thats the DDS which is basically like the animus but the subject can go into the memories of any person from history that Abstergo has the DNA of, this leaves open an so many options for where to go.GrizzlerBorno said:I want Desmond's story to end. Here's why: The Animus plot device is cool.....but very restrictive. It sucks that We HAVE to play as one of Desmond's direct ancestors. It's the reason why we're just seeing these 3 same dude Over and Over again. Imagine if we became free of the plot device? Ubisoft could make a 100 AC spin-offs with that kinda plot freedom! Cook up any crazy thousand year spanning plot they want!
For example, while Constantinople sounds like a Great idea for a setting, I don't want to play as Ezio again. It would've been cool if you could play as One of his recruits from Brotherhood Instead. But Alas, the Animus prevents this.
Also, I want to play as a female Assassin. I'm a man btw, and I'm not talking about one of those sexy, half-naked, saucy assassins from [every piece of fiction that has ever had a female assassin]. I mean a Female teenage member of the Assassin Order, who rises to the ranks of a recruit. If she's a teenager (~15), then she can't be sexualized by the Devs, hence they will have to rely ENTIRELY on her characterization to hold the interests of Players. I think that could result on HELL of a good character. Anyone agree?

I agree, comrade, the late Tsarist/early Revolutionary Russia would make a great setting...Joshica Huracane said:I've been reading alot about AC: Revelations lately (well, not alot. The same stuff over and over), and it got me wondering, where and when would I make Desmond go in the Animus next? Personally, I like the setting of the AC comic book, entitled The Fall.
Yes, I know the character in The Fall isn't related to Desmond, but wouldn't it be a cool setting? Russia just seems right.
So, yea.. Where and When would you like the next Assassin's Creed after Revelations? (Which I suppose would be Assassin's Creed 3?)

I wish more people called me comrade...Shirokurou said:I agree, comrade, the late Tsarist/early Revolutionary Russia would make a great setting...Joshica Huracane said:I've been reading alot about AC: Revelations lately (well, not alot. BTW, assassins are basically communist and Templar - capitalists.
And quite the share of political assassinations too.Joshica Huracane said:... But alot of my reasoning was that the Tunguska Event ties into the AC universe, with a part of that happening in The Fall comic. So... yea. That'd be interesting.
Seconded. France was already present a bit in the AC:Brotherhood, and if they want to move the political plot of the game, that this would be a great place to visit. London would also make for a great historical setting, especially set during the industrial revolution. This would give the devs space for new weapons and means of transportation.evilthecat said:18th century Paris.
19th century London.
You stole most of my ideas but I'd like to add a refinement Victorian England and its colonies imagine the variation a lead in London and you go to India or South Africabadgersprite said:The French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, the English Civil War, the fall of the Tokugawa Shogunate, British Colonial India, Ancient Persia, the American Civil War, the American Revolution, WWI, the Spanish Armada, Mao's Revolution in China, the Boxer Rebellions, the Korean War, the court of Ivan the Terrible, the year of four Emperors in Ancient Rome, the war between Marc Anthony and Octavian, Ancient Athens.
There's loads of places and moments in history that are rarely covered in gaming where this series could be set. Hop to it, Ubisoft! Give us something new and interesting.
