The Russian revolution, maybe it could be about the daughter who escaped the communists and trained to become an assasin.

What was her name again?

Victorian London. With side quests to other European cties, perhaps to America one or twice. Think of the awesome steampunk esque gadgets. And a sword cane! Everyone needs a pimping cane.
Subplots witha Sherlock Holmes type character and Jack the Ripper would be pretty awesome.

Though Japan would fit quite a lot as well, though thats the reall obvious one, an I think they've said they won't do it.

Honestly? I'd like Desmond's story to finish pretty soon, just to get him out of the way.

And obligatory Victorian London. Seriously, GET ON IT UBISOFT.
I'm pretty sure that since Desmond is the main character of the AC franchise, his story will keep going as long as the series does.
Victorian England would be quite fun though. Who do you reckon the head Templar/bad guy would be if that's where the game did take place?

Why finish Desmond's story? That's the main story behind it all.

OT: I have to agree, Victorian London would be pretty damn awesome. I don't want feudal Japan, I just think there are far better places to be than Japan. Civil war USA would also suck, quite a bit so. The story they could concoct would most likely be good, but there are too many games set in the US and I'm sick of it. There is rarely a game set in England and I'd like to see it come to life in the Victorian era. If we didn't have to progress in time, I would have suggested ancient Greece, although it may seem a little bit too much like Rome.

The middle east/south africa during the second world war, use snipers instead of crossbows and eliminate both germans and americans.

I want Desmond's story to end. Here's why: The Animus plot device is cool.....but very restrictive. It sucks that We HAVE to play as one of Desmond's direct ancestors. It's the reason why we're just seeing these 3 same dude Over and Over again. Imagine if we became free of the plot device? Ubisoft could make a 100 AC spin-offs with that kinda plot freedom! Cook up any crazy thousand year spanning plot they want!

For example, while Constantinople sounds like a Great idea for a setting, I don't want to play as Ezio again. It would've been cool if you could play as One of his recruits from Brotherhood Instead. But Alas, the Animus prevents this.

Also, I want to play as a female Assassin. I'm a man btw, and I'm not talking about one of those sexy, half-naked, saucy assassins from [every piece of fiction that has ever had a female assassin]. I mean a Female teenage member of the Assassin Order, who rises to the ranks of a recruit. If she's a teenager (~15), then she can't be sexualized by the Devs, hence they will have to rely ENTIRELY on her characterization to hold the interests of Players. I think that could result on HELL of a good character. Anyone agree?
There is another plot device that they have in Project Legacy that Assassin's Creed could take on and thats the DDS which is basically like the animus but the subject can go into the memories of any person from history that Abstergo has the DNA of, this leaves open an so many options for where to go.

I would suggest the 1940s, but didn't The Saboteur already kind of do that?

So, instead, I'm going to say Cold War Era Russia. So much espionage going on then, and so many secret projects. Who's to say one of those projects didn't involve a Piece of Eden? Plus, it'd be fun to stab KGB agents. Am I the only one that thinks this?

18th century Paris.

19th century London.

Ninjas.. seriously? Remember, Assassins Creed is not a stealth game. Ninja suggests that you would sneak up on your enemies and stab them, not just walk up, stab them your retractable mechanical knife and kill all the guards with your razor sharp penis extension. Also, buildings in Japan have tended towards the short and fragile (for very good reasons). Not really suitable or interesting for climbing around on.

They could go for the actual realistic portrayal of ninjas as peasants warriors from central Japan who trained in guerilla warfare and espionage. That would be kind of cool, but would lead to a very different game from any of the others.

15 year old can't be sexualized?

What an incredibly naive thought.

For one, let's ask a question. Why would playing a teenage girl who stabs people be significant different from playing a teenage boy who stabs people? If they're genuinely pre-sexual, there shouldn't be a significant difference in characterization, right?

A lot of sexual fantasies do not manifest as explicitly wanting to rip clothes off. Guys who want to protect and act as a father figure to young/vulnerable women are generally negotiating with abstracted sexual desire.

I've been reading alot about AC: Revelations lately (well, not alot. The same stuff over and over), and it got me wondering, where and when would I make Desmond go in the Animus next? Personally, I like the setting of the AC comic book, entitled The Fall.

Yes, I know the character in The Fall isn't related to Desmond, but wouldn't it be a cool setting? Russia just seems right.

So, yea.. Where and When would you like the next Assassin's Creed after Revelations? (Which I suppose would be Assassin's Creed 3?)
I agree, comrade, the late Tsarist/early Revolutionary Russia would make a great setting...

BTW, assassins are basically communist and Templar - capitalists.

... I wish more people called me comrade...
But alot of my reasoning was that the Tunguska Event ties into the AC universe, with a part of that happening in The Fall comic. So... yea. That'd be interesting.

And quite the share of political assassinations too.

Ancient Greece or Rome would be cool, or maybe fast forward a hundred years, and make the game take place in Germany during the Thirty Years War. Any one of those would be good.

But definately not Japan, or Victorian England. Those sound pretty bleh to me.

Seconded. France was already present a bit in the AC:Brotherhood, and if they want to move the political plot of the game, that this would be a great place to visit. London would also make for a great historical setting, especially set during the industrial revolution. This would give the devs space for new weapons and means of transportation.

I would love if it was set somewhere in Africa or South America, but I have no clue how they would go about doing it. But I trust the devs

There's loads of places and moments in history that are rarely covered in gaming where this series could be set. Hop to it, Ubisoft! Give us something new and interesting.
You stole most of my ideas but I'd like to add a refinement Victorian England and its colonies imagine the variation a lead in London and you go to India or South Africa
