I'm from the Philippines and I do not know where to buy stuff relating to my interests. Well there is that one place where my friend know which has some figures but they don't have anything that I like.

I'm from Leeds, West Yorkshire in England, but I lived in Nottingham as I attended university there. I also have many ties in Montreal, Canada, and I am hoping to move over there some day. I do tend to wear various "geeky" t-shirts, the favourite of which is a t-shirt with "chemistry" written on the front and a detailed illustration of the atom on the back. In Leeds I don't actively seek out any people with similar interests, but I have university friends scattered all over England and Canada, so when I visit them, I tend to get introduced to "friends of friends" many of which have similar hobbies, so that is how I expand my network of friends and contacts.

To be fair, my avatar is fairly typical of how I dress, hat and all. So go right ahead.

OT: North Yorkshire, UK. Though my Northern accent is milder than Clark Kent's manners.

I'm slowly building up a list of Escapists from around the Leeds/Bradford area.

One day I'm going to hunt you all for sport. :D

I'm from Boston, Lincolnshire in England.

I don't really go out of my way to see find likeminded people, but left to conversation then something geeky is bound to come out. It's how I met most of my friends really! I wear a few geeky items here and there, hardly often though, band merch is most of my clothing.

Resident in Glasgow right now, graduate this year though so God knows where I'll be in 12 months. Hopefully not at my parents.

I don't telegraph geekiness through my attire, I dress pretty boringly. But having said that, I don't really know how to switch it off. I mean, I'm perfectly capable of getting along with non nerdy people, but I'll get a reputation as being a massive nerd pretty damn quick anyway.

Believe it or not, BQE claims heritage in Brazil.

Worry you not, I had my 'huehue' gland removed in a dramatic surgery. I've spent my entire life in the United States and these days I make my residence near the beating heart of the nation's capital[footnote]Huehuehuehue..damnit![/footnote].

I'm from Birmingham but I live in York and I've lived here for about 3 years now. I sort of sought out fellow nerds when I first got here through my university's societies, but I've not really met a load of them. I mean, sure, I live with a couple of Star Wars fans and my house is a total Doctor Who house but as for video game geeks it's just me in my house. As for wearing geeky merch and dropping quotes and stuff into conversation, sure I do, for all the good it does me in finding other geeks :p I quite happily wear geeky shirts around town and always drop nerdy quotes and references into my speech because that's just how I speak now, regardless of whether or not people understand what I'm blathering on about.

I'm about 30 minutes north of Baltimore. Originally from a small town in Tennessee (until I was five), mostly grew up in one of the more cosmopolitan counties of Maryland. I've made numerous nerdy friends over the years, but I'm pretty friendly with just about anybody. Recently have given up on videogame related t-shirts as apparently t-shirts are made of tissue paper nowadays. Mainly I wear nondescript polo shirts now.

I live in Utah in the U.S.

Most of what I wear is band merch and when I speak to people I don't know I try to keep my speech as general as possible to avoid social friction. All of my friends are friends of incidence but videogaming is common among everyone in some way.

I live in this tiny little wide spot on the road in northeast Tennessee called Kyle's Ford. Nothing but trees, deer, barns, trees, churches, trees, more deer & rednecks... Good internet connection though. I hate my life.

I don't advertise too much, but I do have Mario & Luigi tattooed on my arm & a tattoo artist friend of mine want me to let him do Alduin's wall on my back. My friends & I have varied interests, but are mostly gamers to some degree, it just kinda happens that way. I want to get myself a ZP t-shirt, but just haven't done it yet, probably because I'm broke.

I'm from Chile, so I'm snarky, aloof, foul-mouthed and a classist.

Kidding of course. I don't ussually go to cons and such, because I'm not very used to doing that. I do like quoting or referencing something and have someone recognize it. Like saying "TENOUTTATEN!" and have someone say "When I go to da stoah, I get tenouttaten!". So good.

So any other chilean escapists? Maybe we could do our own Expo! All 2 to 4 of us could go!

Can I just say I'm from Halloween Haunt? No? ok fine. I'm from Moreno Valley, CA which most people consider the middle of nowhere(because they don't know where it is) but it isn't actually. I'm about an hour from the mountains, the desert proper, and the beach. An hour and a half ish traffic depending from LA and San Diego.

As for the second question, sometimes I do. When I'm of a mind to be sociable I will wear geeky attire. I actually meet more people with similar interests working Haunt than anything else. And meet people with similar interests BECAUSE of haunt. And because I wear my haunt jackets and shirts a lot.
