Hertfordshire, England. But I'm currently living in the sunny south of France. I can say that weather-wise, It's a step up.

From West Yorkshire, England. Now I'm living in Perth, Australia. (don't ever move here if you're prone to dying of boredom)

ah North Midlands - quite a nice place

not as nice as Yorkshire though ;)
Haha, and why is that? =P
because Yorkshire is the best county in the world.
that's why it's called God's Own County.
Plus we have the best beer in the world in Yorkshire.

I'll have you know I enjoy living in Staffordshire! I get just enough of Yorkshire in my tea bags.

Don't drink?!?! call yourself an Englishman???
Thanks for reminding me about the tea - another reason Yorkshire is awesome.

And yes, we did give Yorkshire it's nickname - but only because it was well deserved

I don't understand how anywhere in England can brag about it's tea, considering Yorkshire tea is grown in in Sri Lanka. That's like getting paying your little brother to do your art homework and then just sticking your name on it.

And I think you're thinking of something here, oh, an opinion?

And you're correct, I don't drink so clearly I'm not an Englishman. Urgh, you really are a credit to our nation /sarcasm.

I'm getting the impression you haven't quite sussed the somewhat tongue-in-cheek nature of my posts...

Clearly we don't grow tea in Yorkshire - however Yorkshire tea is a specific blend of different teas from Assam, Sri Lanka and Africa.

As for the drinking - it is a part of our cultural heritage, our sailors were entitled to a tot of rum a day. It's all light-hearted - stop taking it so seriously.
