But seriously do we need another let's bash Halo or COD thread, again?

I own Halo Reach and have played Black Ops for almost an in game day with the intent of buying, and I both games are very enjoyable. I'm wondering, with sequels with so much in relation to one another, when we will decide that the game is to similar to be worth purchasing.

As people say all the time, when the sales stop, and the copies sit on the shelf unbought or loved.

I have played a bit of both, and Halo Reach felt like an updated version of the old, and BO is at least mixing it up with new modes

Any game that is made by the same publisher, regardless of the title, is going to have similarities, especially in FPSs. We live with it, if it's popular, why change it drastically? That's the thinking
