Where can I find Batman: The Animated Series?

I've never watched Batman: The Animated Series despite being a big Batman fan my entire life. After playing the Arkham games (which feature a lot of the voice talent from the show), and hearing people talk about how great the show is, I want in. I'd like to watch it on my Xbox, but as far as I can tell, none of the video services (Netflix, etc.) have it. The only way I've found it is used DVDs on Amazon, but that's kind of expensive. Is there anything I'm missing here?

Well, they did release some dvds. Some. This is one of those cases where a company that complains about piracy a lot doesn't release stuff enough for people to legitimately buy it.

Your best bet is probably the pre owned market, amazon, ebay, CeX, that sort of thing.

I had the entire collection. Are you from the US? Try out Best Buy or your local used game/movie retailer. I'd give them to you, but I already gave them to my sister cause she loved the series as well and she wanted to share them with her kids, so I gave her my entire DVD collection, along with Justice League. Other than Amazon and used DVD's, try out rental shops(although they're really rare now) or a major book shop like Chapters and Borders(both Canadian). If you are interested in the Superman Animated series, I'd be willing to give you them. My local Futureshop has a ton in stock. Just PM me your address and it'd be on the way the next day.

Thanks, I'll probably just use Amazon. It's kind of a shame that Warner is so protective of its licenses (and you still can't get the 60s show anywhere).

FilipJPhry, thanks so much for the offer, but you should probably give them to someone more deserving, I've never been a big Superman fan and it would probably just collect dust.

On a side note, we used to have a Borders here as well as a Blockbuster but they both went out of business D:

If you're in the UK, HMV have volume one and two for £10 each and some others for a fiver, and they might order stuff in for you. If you're not, then I don't know.

Go to your nearest HMV and you're set. If you're in the states, Kids WB streams episodes on their website for free.

Amazon (US) just marked them all down to half price, so they're all about $15 a piece (and I JUST paid about $30 for sets 2 and 3). Batman Beyond is even cheaper.
