Where did Ninja'd Come From?

Question for the oldschool members of the site: what are the origins of the term Ninja'd!?
Did it originate on this site the same way the Basement exists? Or was it a foreign term that was introduced and just stuck?

I'd be really interested to know, since the site's Off Topic Forum has its own mentality and subculture. Things like The Basement, Ninja'd, Pimp My Gun and the Scary Thread all show up here the most. What's the story?

Pimp My Gun was in The Basement put on his Scary Thread and then he Ninja'd all over.

That probably didn't help at all. Um... you see, when a user and their post love each other very much...

Well, no that raises even MORE questions. As simply as I can put it, it's just something one says when he or she has contributed to a thread in the exact manner that someone else has, without knowing that the other poster has done so.
