Aurora219 - I came up with this one day after staring at a live feed of the Aurora Borealis. The 219 just sounded like a decent enough random number.

Tannen - This is my game name, my RL alias to everyone who lives far too long in the virtual world, and my character name. I came up with it one day when we were playing Vampire: Dark Ages (Most epic paper based RPG ever made). I was playing Ventru, a sort of nobility style clan focusing on knighthood style combat and valor. Tannen seems to fit most characters I make, be they soldiers or vampires.

Dalek sec was from the season two finale of the new episodes of Doctor who. He was first seen at the end of "Army of ghost's" with the rest of the cult of skaro. That and I like the color black.

After Terry Tate from the adverts on TV a while back. A total legend.
I use Comrade Metski in game, as my name used to be Met - short for Metallica.
Comrade, as I have a huge interest in communism, and added the 'ski' to the end to make it sound a little more plausible.

KapnKerfuffle

I heard the term kerfuffle on the radio program "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" on NPR and it just a fun word to say. It means "a disorderly outburst or tumult." I put the prefix Kapn, short for Captain, like the cereal Kapn' Krunch. I spelled it Curfuffle on GameFAQs until I learned that is not the usual spelling for it (though it is acceptable).

During a game of Battlefield vietnam, after crashing my Huey for the nth time, I figured I needed better mojo. I'd always liked Gremlin, but it was always taken, so I thought up a good verb to stick in front of it and thought singing gremlin was great.

The first part of mine is my surname. (Dear God, don't tell anyone, now my secret is out!)
"oap" is just that, oap. Or Old Age Pensioner. Of course I'm not really, I'm 15. And 44 is my favorite number.

I wanted to take the most generic name I could think of and try to make it sound epic. Therefore, I am the master of Bobs, or thebobmaster.

When I wore a younger man's clothes, I used to be a pirate. I had a long career as one. But I knew it had to end at some point, and that some point was about four years ago.
The last ship I pillaged belonged to a fellow called... 'Jonathan Hexley'. I chose that name for my Escapist account because I killed him in a very imaginative way, and because he was the last man to meet my blade.
...
I knew no one would believe me.
Real Story: I needed a username, and Jonathan Hexley was the first thing to come to me.

My actual name is Jamie, so I just build lots of variations on Jam. Jamithicus, Jamonator, Jammy, Jam-miner, and Jammer. It's brilliant.

What aliases? I don't have any aliases! My name is... John Smith! Really!

Oh. Right.

Where do you think I got my username from?

I got my username from my brother's girlfriend's mom's ex-boyfriend's hobby, which is programming. Particularly things involving video games. Still just a hobby, since I'm still only fourteen and without professional training.

If you don't understand my username, follow these steps:

1. Die

2. If still alive, read this: vIdEOgAmEprOgrAmMEr

3. If eyes still at normal temperature, rejoice.

It's the name of the main protagonist from my favorite Alfred Hitchcock movie 'Rear Window'.

Basically, the guy has a busted leg and all he can do is look out a window all day. Because he's so bored all the time, he starts to observe patterns and actions of other people in the apartments around his window. It gives him this distorted perspective of the world that both lets him help others but also gets him into a lot of trouble.

That pretty much sums up my outlook on the world.

He's also shagging Grace Kelly, which is still the hottest actress ever to be on screen, in my opinion.

I came up with the name Eise back in high school, where my art doodles started churning up a recurring character, to whom I gave the same name. Back then I was constantly stoned on Final Fantasy, and this character reflected that in a big way. Crazy hairdo, giant sword, goofy-looking vest (though to my credit I did give him an undershirt), basically the full JRPG package. I took it a step further though and gave him an Ice affinity (guess now how Eise is pronounced). I still doodle out this character to this day, though he has since been toned down significantly. My latest rendition of him is the avatar you see today.

Anyway, I am the "man" who created "Eise," so... there ya go.
