'Atmos' - Short for "Atmosphere". An expression of the field I'm going into (Atmosphere Sciences, aka, Meteorology) and have had interest in for some time.
'Duality' - It sounded cool, regular "Atmos" was taken, though now I suppose it could also be extended to describe the dual nature of Man, or at least myself: (I'm prone to bouts of total random goofiness, while sometimes lapsing into periods of utter cold logic. I'm a gamer and yet also philosopher; an everyday casual schmuck and pretentious idiot all in one person).

Slight variation of a nickname given to my dad by his students and passed on to me once those students met me.
When I first started going online when I was ten I went onto the the N website and asked for a name.
I did not want to be known as a girl and when it asked for my name, went with the name Dexter.(I was also watching dexter's labratory earlier in the day.)

I wrote it down randomly in my notebook one time. I kind of liked it, even though it sounds a bi silly.
Mine was originally Syrian Squirrel in Trackmania. It was based an animal I saw and the first S word that came to mind. Everyone shortened it to Syr, and I like the way that sounded.
I personally think that it is both random and refined, which matches my personality quite well.
