In Fallout 3 I had 3 HQs over three play-throughs:
The first was the house in Megaton when I played a good character
The second was Tenpenny Tower when I played evil
and the third was the apartment in Rivet City when I played a neutral character

In Minecraft on my friend's multiplayer server we found a pretty neat looking spot between a mountain. I'd post a screen if I could, but it's literally empty right now and none too interesting. On an only moderately-kinda-sorta related note the seed number 'gargamel' is insane.

Nothing beats the Sink in Fallout: New Veas - Old World Blues.

You get instant travel to and from the Mojave, quick access from fast travelling, home appliances with their own programmed personalities, instantly heal everything for no charge, a vendor, a bed, lots of storage and the ability to change certain perks and traits.

In Oblivion, I didn't set up a home base until I beat the Thieve's Guild. And then, I had that place on the Waterfront.

In Fallout 3, in my first playthrough, it was Tenpenny Tower, second Megaton, third Tenpenny again until I couldn't get in due to a glitch (I lost my Firelance), so I went to Rivet City. When I visit Point Lookout, I always set up shop in the hotel that seems to have been the scene of a homocide.

New Vegas, I had that hotel room in Novac until I got the Lucky 38.

In Minecraft I created a giant floating tower in the middle of a valley, I got the idea from a floating rock, which I decided was a sign, especially since the seed was "The Dark Tower".

In Morrowind my house was in Caldera, I can't recall the owners name but he had a shrine under the house that was great for storage. Sure nearly every time I went in a skeleton had spawned but I'd just think of him as a guard for all my loot. Eventually I had a manor built for me for doing the House Hlaalu quests. That became my main base but I still used the place in Caldera for storage.

In Minecraft my house was a big ass castle that I spent many hours on. Somehow the save file was corrupt and I had to start again on a different save. Right now I'm still in the middle of building my new place which is going to be a sort of penthouse thing in a ciff, might post a screenshot when it is done if this thread is still active then.

In Oblivion it was Frostcrag Spire. I fucking love that place it's just full of awesome.

First of all, I just typed that in on a new world and I think the only appropriate thing to say is: HOLY SHIT.

Second of all, thank you! Now I have a mountain big enough to build Ironforge :3

In my first 3 playthroughs of fallout new vegas, I used the lucky 38 suite.

Now I just use an underground bunker mod right in front of the Tops.
