Where did you think babies came from before you were given "The Talk"?

I've never had "The Talk" fortunately. When I was younger, I thought that when a man and a woman kiss enough, sooner or later the woman would become pregnant and that the baby would be born from the woman's poopy hole. It's quite hilarious now that I think about it.

But I learned about the facts in school, the Internet and documentaries.

I never had this so-called talk. By the age of five I already knew where babies came from. Naturally being that young I thought it was hilarious.

Never given, "The Talk" Have no idea where I though babies come from either. I think I probably knew they always came from a Mummy and there was always a Daddy about (albeit that's not always the case)

After having one of my own, I certainly know the painful process to get them out.
I salute you. Being a parent takes nerves of steel and many pots of patience

I always knew that they came from pregnant women but when I was younger, in my creepy kid logic, I'd formed this idea that the man in the relationship would have to vomit something down the throat of the woman who wanted to get pregnant and that would maker her be pregnant....T.V. later proved me otherwise.

Interestingly enough I figured it out using solid logic without any help from external sources. one day I just realized "hey I bet you could stick a penis in a vagina" and it just clicked. before that I had never put any thought into it.

no seriously, I'm telling the truth.

Kinda like op, though I don't remember what I thought about the cause of pregnancy exactly. Though I learned about sex quite early.

I never really thought about it before I was given the talk. I guess I always kind of knew.

I generally didn't care and once I asked (about age 9) I got a cut down version of "the talk" and figured out the rest.

Pretty much the same way you thought.

I thought that over a course of time, a woman would become pregnant simply by being in contact with her spouse over a long period of time. And I got the talk from my dad back when I was either 11 or 12.
