He was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too hard on Overlord 2 and who the hell can't press both mouse buttoms while moving the mouse o_O. By the way I havn't played many of the other games that he might have been too hard/too soft on.
But afterall he's a good entertainer and makes me laugh from time to time, but I really don't take his reviewing seriously anymore and I hope others arn't missleaded.

Whenever he reviews games that I have actually played, I find them very very accurate. Although, I embrace the faults and still enjoy the game regardless.

I decide whether I like a game or not, not some British dude half a world away. I simply watch him because I find his game rants amusing.

Bad idea for a thread on a site that should be called, zeropunctuation.com and not escapistmagazine.com

In his review of F.E.A.R 2 he acted as though F.E.A.R 1 wasn't available on consoles. It is I've got the PS3 version. Otherwise I've actually agreed with him on all the games he's reviewed that I've actually played.
Edit! Seeing as how it's all opinion my only gripes are if he gets facts wrong.

Most stuff, I watch ZP for entertainment value, not as a reliable source of game criticism.

... . Plus he "reviewed" Duke Nukem which wasn't out yet, but whatever he gets paid for it anyways.

...

EDIT: I never said I didn't like the Duke Nuken review - it was entertaining just not a review as such
maybe you covered this in someone else's reply (i'm too lazy to sift through 5 pages of comments right now, i got other things to do), but considering the cancellation of DNF (also an acronym for "did not finish" by the way) was such big news in the gaming community, i liked how he managed to parody it so well and make the game's release almost believable, then blow everything completely out of proportion. perhaps my view is jaded since i come here to be entertained more than to hear people's opinions of games, but yahtzee never seemed to me the most credible reviewer anyways. most people i've shown his videos to who actually play games agree with his general worldview but disagree with him on the games themselves; fable II and ghostbusters immediately come to mind.

I just watch his reviews mostly for a great laugh and watch him criticize aspects of a game completely out of context. Although sometimes I do treat them like reviews just to get a bit of insight to see what are the good and bad aspects of a game (like every other game reviewer I watch). Everything bad he mentions I sort of prepare for in games but they don't piss me off as much as the review says. Although I do agree with a lot of bad aspects of games he mentions.

Besides he feels he's not funny when he loves a game so he rolled with the critical asshole that we know and love today.

I like RPGS, yeah. Also, he's mainly right about the flaws in games, but he just nitpicks and makes too big of a deal of problems, that mostly don't ruin my gaming experience

Meh, I barely watch his videos any more. Obviously he's the reason I was here in the first place, and I'm grateful for that, he's less of a reviewer and more of an entertainer, and to be honest, I prefer Storm's Adventure [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG7mPdGE46g] more than Zero Punctuation nowadays, he still actually reviews the game while being funny.
