So, as I went post-Christmas shopping, I bought a few things and then moved on to buy replacement jeans for my old ones, seeing as they are soon to be reaching it's expiry date. I searched high and low and realised something...

Where in retail hell are just regular jeans?!

I was just looking for these kind of jeans. Just plain, no stupid designs on them or deliberately ripped, tarnished ones.

True I could've went to Levi's and got 501's but as a student, yeah-no, not gonna happen. I eventually did find a pair that fit my criteria and so leads to the question above.

Where in this world do you get your jeans? Preferably don't just say "the store lulz"

EDIT: I'm from England, UK, so stores are like Old Navy, Marshalls, (To name a few, I've never heard of.) are either non-existant or very few and far between in the UK.

Ha, to be completely honest, I don't know. I mainly ride out on jeans my family gives me for Christmases and birthdays. I've lived on maybe five pairs of pants for most of my life.

Most of it probably comes from Kohls, as it's pretty cheap compared to other stores.

I usually just go to Primark for my jeans. To me jeans are jeans and you can get plain ol' straight cuts like those, as well as skinnies and the like

Pretty much all my Jeans are Levi's.

I'm a student too bud, they're not that expensive, considering they last about 3 times longer than cheaper jeans, and so you don't have to replace them nearly so often. That's the way I see it anyhow.

Plus they look nice...

I buy mine mostly at Express. They're one of the only brands that actually fits me properly, what with my lack of hips and butt. Low rise jeans are vile.

Used clothing shops like Crossroads, Buffalo Exchange, and even Goodwill. Quality at used stores varies a lot depending on the area, you can get great stuff in places with wealthy college kids.

Target. Levi's has recently released a sister brand called "Denizen", which makes really great-quality jeans for (when I bought a bunch of them) $17 a pair. I haven't seen this brand anywhere but Target, either. Try that out.

EDIT: Reviews of the jeans. Yes. http://www.wicproject.com/review/denizen-jeans/ and http://formulamom.com/review-denizen-jeans/

A retro shop that stocks jeans from the 80's-90's, they're much cheaper and more durable. Check independent shops in your area.

I don't want to just say "the store" now, but the truth is... Well I just go to a mall or into town and I look in the various stores X3. I always find something I want =3.

That said I buy a lot of my clothes online cause my fashion sense is not so wide spread around here... Impossible to get the clothes I really like any other way than online =3.

Ah! I love Kohl's. I get a lot of clothes from there. Why I bought some shirts from then this season for $3 a piece. And they do actually tend to have some brands I'm remotely interested in.

OP could also look into the tried and true method of browsing outlet malls. They have a lot of good deals. This season too they had a blowout where I, admittedly didn't buy jeans, but I did buy several pairs of Vans shoes for $10 each. And a pair of Etnies for $20.

i get mine from my father. when i come to visit long enough to do laundry, i take a pair of his. we're about the same height and weight, so they fit almost perfectly.

i hate buying new pants. first i have to break them in, which makes that first week of wearing them suck. after they'er broken in, they don't fit well. my dad buys the best pants.

-EDIT-
forgot the question:
when i do buy my own (new) pants, i get them at target (said the poor college student).

I've got a bit of variety going on. A pair of Levis, Helix, Lucky, and two others I'm not sure of. Don't know why all of my jeans are different brands but meh.

I never wear jeans, to confining. I like sweatpants. And shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

I tend to go to Dunnes Stores for my clothes in general because it's fairly cheap but not suspiciously cheap.

You know, I've been after a new pair myself, and I'm yet to search on Amazon! Oh, the shame.

I don't have many jeans, but what I do buy, I buy at Wal-Mart. Most of them are Levi's. I am a poor college kid from a poor family. Levi's are just in our price range. And they are normal jeans.

But, as I mentioned, I don't buy that many jeans. I buy Arizona and/or Wranglers cargo pants on sale when I can. I love cargos, but the only way I can afford them, really, is on sale.
