Seeing how there are a lot of things going on in the world right now, I try to keep up with the current events around the world. However, I found that some of the news that I read are not really covering everything. Amy Winehouse gets the front page, while US debt, problems in Europe, Norway, and many more important issues are pushed down. Here's the list of news sources I check out

- CBC: Canadian news
- BBC: British news
- Reuters: I'm not sure where news (probably US)
- NYT: New York Times

where do you guys get your news? could you recommend some? no fox please

Australian Broadcasting Commission Radio

Online ABC (See above) BBC or AJE. (AJE especially for middle east news, I've been a regular visitor to their site since the Arab Spring).

My home page is CNN.com, so every time I open up Chrome, I take a quick look to see if anything interesting is happening.

Der Spiegel (http://www.spiegel.de/) sort of a German Times. For example are they the ones that Julian Assange (Wikileaks guy) worked with.
ARD (http://www.ard.de/) Germany's (and the worlds biggest) public broadcaster. No opnions, no affelition, answers to no one. The abbreviation stands for "Arbeitsgemeinschaft der öffentlich-rechtlichen Rundfunkanstalten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland", but nobody calls it like that, nobody.
BBC (http://www.bbc.com/) I guess I don't have to elaborate this one
Aljazeera (http://english.aljazeera.net/) Very interesting to read good and independent news from a different perspective.

Facebook, Gizmag, Phone Arena, The Escapist, occasionally Kotaku.

I don't pay attention to actual current events. Just things I'm interested in.

I get things from Yahoo, CNN, BBC, G4, Facebook, friends/family, and a few others I can't think of at the moment.

edit: My step dad watches Fox and sometimes I overhear it when I'm cooking and then compare what I heard to other sources.

Daily show and Colbert report.

But when thats not on I like to watch CNN because it seems the most unbiased to me.
