I generally use the escapist and google news for games that I'm interest in, but where is a good place to hear about new games and trailers.

Ive tried some popular websites, but found them much more clunky than the escapist.

Please! Please! If you don't, I'll adopt an orphan and never show up.

Aside from The Escapist, I visit Kotaku (though I don't post there anymore since they started demanding I log in with Facebook) and Rock Paper Shotgun (for a more PC-focused look). I also pick up bits and pieces from YouTube (like TotalBiscuit) or the webcomics I read (Penny Arcade and such).

Besides here, I have Kotaku "liked" on Facebook so that any random games news thing shows up and if it interests me I then look into it further, and for Xbox specific news I use Xbox360Achievements.org as they are usually rather quick when it comes to posting news, or some news anyway.

Other than the Escapist, I have an IGN app on my iphone that updates literally as soon as the website updates, so I find that site easier.

I get most of my information through Gamer Informer Magazine.

Came with my Pro-card for Game-stop, so why not.

Only here or IGN to be honest. I'm also following PC Gamer on Twitter.
IGN gets a lot of stick, and I agree their reviews can be dumb, but they update regularly and they're a good source of information.

I follow here as well as Game Informer, Ars Technica, and I lurk over at Colony of Gamers. Been following Penny Arcade Report, though it's more for in-depth articles rather than day-to-day gaming news. Kotaku now and again, though less than I used to.

Usually here. Sometimes Kotaku and mmo-champion to keep up on my WoW news... even if I don't play anymore :p.

The Internet, mate.
Oh, you want specifics?
Here, IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, Youtube (TotalBiscuit and the TGS podcast specifically), I used to go to Gametrailers, but since they 'renovated' (and by renovated I mean fucked up beyond belief) their site, I can't seem to find anything on it, so I only go there for the occasional review.
Bare in mind, I don't actually pay attention to IGN and Kotaku's reviews, because they lack of professionalism and smell of bias, but they usually have their news before other sites, so they're reliable for that if nothing else.

Game Informer (Both magazine and website) and The Escapist. Sometimes I'll google something if it's in neither, that also works.

Uh...this place.
That's...about it. I tend to find the Escapist is the most reliable website for game stuff.

I mostly go to siliconera, they update frequently, and they do so not only with AAA titles, but with more obscure titles that almost nobody plays

Everything tends to turn up here at some point. From amazing scientific endeavours from around the world to the relatively insignificant latest screenshots of unreleased games. It all ends up here.
