Where do you go when you gotta go?

I was playing Dead Space this morning when a pressing matter came to my attention: in games with bathrooms, I instinctively go to the women's room first. Doesn't matter what game either. Dead Space, Bioshock, Dead Rising, Fallout, Shadow of Mordor, and all the way back to Silent Hill, I veer toward the little girls' room before straying into unknown territory.

What do the rest of you do?

I usually take the one on the left first, too.

I think it's because I still subconsciously associate the right side of the screen with progressing through the level (even though three-dimensional games have long dispensed with that), and I always want to explore before progressing, so... left-hand door first.

...Which do I see first? Really, it is that simple to me in games, as there are very few instances where there's any reason to even care. They're just other corridors which might have items in them.

But then I can't really recall that many bathroom sections in games apart from maybe The Last of Us and Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Wow, an entire facet of gameplay that I've left untouched. This is surely a turning point in my gaming career.

I guess from now on, I'll go to the women's toilets first. Just to see if Ten Foot Bunny is there.

Usually both (for my greed is greater than my intellect), but more often than not I'll always end up in the ladies' room first.

Never paid attention to it. Which ever is closer first? The left first? I have a left bias, being a southpaw. Both are checked, without fail.

Women's, but I make my character walk backwards and make beeping noises like a reversing truck so they know I'm coming.

I don't know, man ._. I just explicitly remember always entering the left bathroom first in Bioshock Infinite.

Depends on the game and situation, I guess.

If it's a horror game I'll check which bathroom looks the cleanest, safest, or has the least amount of viscera coming out of it, then I'll go explore the other one first. Because the safest looking one ALWAYS has the nasty things in them. Always...

If it's a survival game I won't check either. Bathrooms are death traps. No matter what. Death traps. Screw that noise.

If it's Left 4 Dead 2 I'll check both, starting with the closest one. There's probably pills in there somewhere. I like pills. Pills are good. We could all use more pills.
