The Factory. It's an old factory turned entertainment place. It has shops, ice skating, and soccer. And go-karts.

Me and my friends hang out after school at the mall just a couple of hundred meters away.

There are all sorts of games and books and shit there. Even internet access.
It's not all that great but I don't see how anywhere else is much better.

What I am saying here is I have a pretty fucking pathetic existence.
You know, you could go outside and you know... have fun?
Sure doing stuff alone is not fun... god bless public tansportation!
I love meeting people in the bus or in the tram.
What, for the sake of itself?
Gosh, now there's a fantastic idea! How about I go outside for no reason and stumble around some cows!

I prefer being alone. I don't like going out places. I was acknowledging how pathetic that was, not bemoaning it.

I am actually getting pretty fed up with suggestions to "go out there and have fun, by jiminy". Like that's going to solve everything.
And everyone always assumes their idea of fun is universal. Yeah, newsflash. It's really, really not.
All the shit you like is stupid to someone. Most likely me.

I never really hang around anywhere unless there is a purpose. Say I'm socializing with friends I'll just hang whereever they are, or maybe somewhere more specific like some shops if they are buying stuff. I never just hang around for the sake of hanging around. Most of the time I just stay inside anyway.

Nice weather I chill around this place called The Meadows, which is oddly enough, a sort of meadow.

Bad Weather? My friends' houses. We would use mine but no joke, the walls are made out of glorified cardboard, and my parents do not care for teenage talk.

If there were trams or trains where I live, I'd hang out there. ;D

I just hang out at the malls, (I live near 2) walk around aimlessly, see a movie, or just chill in my awesome room!

No! I too enjoy bars and clubs! Or just wandering around with friends, realistically doing very little. Beaches, not so much; stupid cold sunless Britain...

Alternatively, if there's no-one around and I have some time to kill, I'll just walk somewhere. If I'm at home, I'll take the dog for a walk; if I'm at uni, I'll walk to the city centre and see if I need to buy anything or if anyone's around.

We often meet up at someone's house then just walk around town. We usually stop at Wawa and get some donuts or something too. Might just stay at the person's house though.

This week there's a carnival nearby that everyone's been hanging out at though, so I've been going there.

I hang around outside our local Quick Stop with a buddy of mine all day.

He doesn't talk much but we've been friends for as long as I can remember.
Haha! :p

I heard you sell some weed now and again as well?

OT: Personally I dont really hang around anywhere, cos theres no-where for me to hang around; I live in the middle of no-where.

When I'm away from home at uni I usually can be found either in my flat, at a friends flat, at a pub or probably on the beach if it's a nice day. They're my usual haunts :D

... -.- oh god, here we go again!
1) No one said having fun would "solve" anything, you obivously have some issues if you enjoy living your so called "pathetic" life. =P
2) I never told you what to do, "going out and having fun" is a figure of speech.
3) You're calling your own life pathetic, but then jump and attack me for suggesting something. Chill dude, I'm not going to make you go outside, so why bother getting upset?
This is not ment to be offensive, I just wanted to clear up any misunderstandings. =P

1) I don't enjoy it. I don't enjoy anything. I just don't enjoy this slightly less than the alternative.
Also would people on the Escapist please stop fucking telling me I have issues. I got it, okay. Thanks for the input.

2) Thank you for that. I didn't know that before. My, it is so great to learn new oh my god how dumb do you think I am.
I know. It is a stupid figure of speech. As such I feel inclined to ***** about it.

3) I'm not attacking you. And I'm not upset. Actually, I'm feeling pretty insouciant, as always.
I'm just a dick.

Look. A good rule of thumb is to not take anything I say seriously.
So before you type up an offended reply, filled with curses or capslock or whatever your deal is, just ask yourself. Am I really worth it?

(The answer you are looking for is no)

Empty playgrounds and moderately empty sports fields. They have a nice aura. I don't so much "hang" as walk/run to and from whatever place suits my whim at the time. The stand near the baseball field makes this awesome "pew pew pew" sound when you knock it.

Sometimes I meet my friend at the shopping centre (or mall as you Americans call it) and hang out there for a few hours. It's just a convenient place to meet, but I kind of feel like a tool or something, it just seems kind of typical. We don't sit at a coffee shop like dignified adults either. We just wander, talk, and occasionally do silly things in places no-one's around.

Oh wow man, you're so edgy and stuff.

Either at mine, one of my friends or a pub.

Yorkshire England doesn't really have nice places to go that are within walking distance. Gotta love the pub tho. :D

I normally stay in my room, venturing out to take care of the required crap(or pace around).

Yes, THAT'S what I was going for. I just said I spend all my time indoors living a life that would be considered pathetic.
So fucking edgy.

Think before you say things.
