Since I know next to nothing about American stuff, I don't know... though somewhere snowy would be cool, maybe Alaska yet.

Yeah.. Fallout Alaska. Polar Bears, snowy mountains, and abombinable snowmen deathclaws. Awesome.

And you thought Deathclaws and Cazadors were bad...

Combine the two. Fallout: Australia- the post-war nuclear winter has brought about drastic changes to the Australian climate, resulting in areas of bitter frozen tundra and, along with the radiation, causing the already dangerous indigenous wildlife to become even more aggressive and deadly.

Of course, the relative scarcity of firearms in Australia compared to the U.S.A. means stealth is probably a higher priority, and combat being mostly melee focused.
