Well basically whats doing?
Why do people keep getting into flaming wars, and massive forum arguments over which is better?
so far all i hear from the PC crowd is, PC gaming is so much better because of technically better graphics then consoles, and the controls are better etc etc.
all i here from the console crowd is that the PC gamers who argue this are nothing but elitists.
EDIT: Also forgot to add the other argument that's used a lot, and one that annoys me greatly is the notion that PC gaming is dead. <<< that is a load of crap, because there are people still playing, and no matter how aptly people put that it is dead, it's not. i mean look at Korea for christ's sake, Starcraft is their national sport. and remember saying PC gaming is dead in a figural way in regards to genres and all that crap does not even count as an argument. ANYWAY, back to the point.
cant we all just live in gaming harmony? i mean half the topics i see in forums about games always involve someone saying PC better than console, and that then the console crowd retaliates with the more arguments.
Okay so they're are some key gameplay differences between versions of certain games, and yeah the graphics might look better on PC, and the controller is more convenient to play with the a whole keyboard of buttons, but in the end is it really worth it to fight over which one is better?
i dunno in personal opinion i reckon it's a negative aspect for gaming.
EDIT 2: I like both styles of gaming console and PC, and believe developer's should put more effort into making their games more cross-platform friendly.
