So please Escapists, tell me where you are, what happened? It is just tragic :(
They've been replaced by trolls and arrogant teenagers who think they know better than everyone else.

But I agree, I look at the recent posts list and just think omfg, they should call it the "Ponies, ME3 Rants and Racist undercurrents list."

I've been slowly trapping them all in shittier and shittier threads... They may escape one day - but until that day comes I will bombard you with countless horrible "OMGDAYONEDLCMADNESSOHMY!" threads until you're up to their eyeballs in them. You brought this on yourselves, Escapist. You brought me here and I won't leave until everything on this stricken website is still. I can't wait until you join your fellows trapped under - at page 26.

I am still here. I don't post as much as I did when I first came here but I am still here. I am kind of forgettable on forums though. I am kind of like that one guy in class or work that everyone sees but doesn't notice. I guess you could say I am a ninja.

Well, let me see...

Demented Teddy: Banned
Maxthereaper: Banned
Furburt: Left
Hubiliub: Left
Snooty Englishman: MIA
Aylaine: MIA
Neonbob: Usually in Forum Games
Sassafras: I see hime from time to time, but it's infrequent.

I think I may have forgotten people...
Zeel was recently suspended for two weeks. Ahh, I miss that poor guy :(. There's just not quite as much of a massive hatred effecting this site without him.

A lot of the older guys, (Furburt, DemonicTeddy, etc) went to Furburts self started forum called Yellow Leprechauns or something.
I am EXTREMELY grateful to you for saying this! I had been missing them something terrible, and I must say, I already love their forum!

OT: There hasn't really been much to talk about...

I haven't really been around the forum for too long but honestly it still feels kind of the same to me. I guess it's because I haven't really tried to make any friends here so I don't notice the people that come and go as much. It's just putting my two cents in and moving on to the next thread.

...I still recognize plenty of people by their avatars, though, and there seems to be a lot of users who are still sticking around based on the short time I've been here.

It would seem that they've...escaped.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
/facepalm that was so bad xD

OP: I'm not sure what you're talking about. There still seems to be lots of traffic, it just depends on the thread I guess?
I posted a topic yesterday but it got no posts. Probably because it was boring or something /shrug.

Many of them retreated to User Groups/Forum Games/User Reviews.

Site still seems pretty active to me, though.
It might be the changing avatars. Yeesh Marter, what happened to the sexy plastic looking women? I had to do a double take at first.

Ever since Rolelplaying and Forum Games were divided into two different sections, I've noticed activity go up increasingly there. It was handy for removing so much of the waste threads from Off Topic.

I do miss Hankman though. That guy had the best CSI Puns.

I see quite a few regulars around still though! I have noticed a lot of the catchy named/recognisable avatar peeps have somehow managed to get permanent bans and stuff... which would explain why some of the people you remember have now dissapeared!

I used to be on here quite a bit, and I never planned on leaving. But about the time I discovered ponies, the Escapist's forum was starting to become somewhat hostile to pony threads. I needed to find somewhere I could talk ponies in peace, so I went looking for a pony forum. Once I found a good one, I started to spend more and more of my time there, and hardly visit any of my old fora any more.

The Escapist is like the second tab I open on my browser every day. I don't know, I also get the feeling that there are fewer new posts coming up these days...or like someone else said, they're all about the same damn thing. ME3 here, Skyrim there, etc...
I dunno man, its not like its been like this since Skyrim came out, when nothing special is happening we are flooded with (The enemy you last killed in your game is not your ******) (Your teacher is now the ****** you ****** in your last game) (Why I hate kids) (Games with Avatars) (Poll about peoples sexuality) (Poll about peoples sexlife) (Poll about peoples lovelife) There really arent many original threads left to make. I mean look at it, all the good ones have already been made! At least thirty times each, in the past year.

The R/P boards are better, if not only because new topics (Regulary, but not as much as I would like) rely on actual news, which causes it to be an original-ish. Topic. Even if it stoops back to a fight between basic ideologies as is most often the case. Personal prefference I guess. I guess the three threads about relationships also often land in the (Why I hate kids) Territory. But thats something that happends due to some people on this website and cannot be helped.

I'm on quite regularly, I just rarely find topics that catch my interest enough for me to reply, thus resulting in a relatively low post count and little notability. That being said, the amount of pointless bullshit topics being posted is frightening, to say the least.

As for avatars, I quite recently changed mine to an actual photo of myself--messed with the contrast till my face was obscured, though. I wanted something recognizable that wouldn't actually reveal what I look like, for personal reasons.

I'm here. I just tend to lurk more often than not. Although you should probably explore the exploits of Zeel. He's the only reason I go into ME3 threads anymore.

Oh and brownie points to anyone who gets where my avatar is from :p
