Sounds like your like me! You Don't like FPS. Not that uncommon, I'm currently playing ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, its awesome! Fun games are still out there, for sure. You just need to look!

Agreed. I've recently been playing Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection and it reminded me of all the great, simple, fun platforming games out there. So, this friday, I'm planning on buying the Sly Cooper Trilogy HD on PS3
For other great fun games, the Xbox Live Arcade is always your friend. Super Meta Boy, Trials HD, Plants Vs Zombies, all great simple fun games!

I only recently beat The Sly Trillogy! Loved every minute! The humor is pretty good too!

I don't think they've gone anywhere. I myself have lots of fun playing modern releases. Team Fortress 2, Borderlands, Halo Reach, Monday Night Combat, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Earth Defense Force 2017, etc. All of these (and others) are thoroughly enjoyable games for me.

Well if you're interested in games outside of FPSs there's always Dwarf Fortress, veterans of that game know there is lots of Fun to be had
