Yeah, I hated Fallout 3 for that. I only played it for the quests and felt no need to explore. And I was always perplexed how people said everywhere in oblivion looked the same when I felt there was a diverse landscape which looked beautiful unlike another bucket load of grime that was Fallout.Julianking93 said:That was the thing I found to be most intolerable about Fallout; everything looked exactly the same. To be honest, I don't care about Fallout.
I would easily sacrifice New Vegas for a new Elder Scrolls.
It's not that Fallout was a bad game, its just that to me it was WAAAY too slow and the landscape/exploring was all exactly the same.

I don't know what the fuck reviewers were thinking when they bitched about Oblivion's "too similar and unvaried landscape" while they praised Fallout 3's "variety in the world"
