Where is YOUR swearing tree?

Recently I read a novel,an awesome novel,that contains an explanation about how male members of an Irish clan would find a tree in the middle of nowhere,known only by family.
Whenever one would find himself full with anguish and the need to blow some steam he would go out there at the tree,and swear at it like a -insert comparison item here-,as loud as he could,believing that the tree was able to absorb all of his inner "demons",and thus allow him to keep his sanity.

Now i know this is fictional,unless I'm wrong,but I haven't found any cultural references to something like this.


However,I need one of those trees.I guess my own version of the tree is online when I shoot people in the face and yell "BOOM HEADSHOT".What's yours......or do you never need to blow some steam?/sarcasm.

At my work, although it's not so much a violent release for me, I just calm myself by doing what I do.

For explaination purposes I'm training to become a pathologist so cutting people open all day has a calming effect on me.

I release my anger in a positive manner, I enjoy the silence and sit and think. I try not to get angry though which is pretty hard if you don't have anything that you can do to release your anger. I plan to some day learn a martial arts, it is a great way to achieve balance of the Body and Spirit.

But for now i can only sit still and ride it off, while thinking "How happy one could be with a private mountain."

That said: I'd rather have a mountain, so i could stand at the top and yell at the world, yet no one would hear me.
