Yeah I'm sorry, I was good with the game up until the ending, I don't care if other people have problems with the rest of the game because I thought that they were good. I "missed them" because they didn't bother me. I hate it when people try to tell me that I shouldn't like something that I should.
agreed

in a way the ending has been good..is distracted everyone from the millions of other things they could complain about

the game was never going to be perfect, not everyone was going to like it..

I don't care if it's been done to death. I wish everyone would have kept pressure on BioWare, but hopefully the internet will turn back to anarchy when they release the post-ending DLC that won't satisfy anyone.
Im kind of curios though..just o see what they come up with...and the second wave shitstorm that will likley follow

I bet it will be one hell of a show

I for one am glad to see this post. Yes, the ending was bad...but it was NOT it's only flaw! Nobody ever mentions the many things I hated about ME3.

Soooo many people said "it's perfect, just with a shit ending". Wrong. It's rushed out, with entire gameplay features carved out for the sake of saving time and money.

Oh yeah, I'm already stockpiling popcorn.
not to mention the ME3 threads (and the complaing about ME3 threads) will be back in full swing...in other words Bioware is going to deliver us a brand new hoarse, alive and healthy...for us to beat to death

Here's the thing. If you're posting a topic and your first line is "I know has been done to death, but..." then maybe you should consider, you know, not posting it.

I've probably done the sensible thing here...
Yup, I've made up my own endings.

If you've collected everyone together and done really well then you basically end up destroying the reapers... well not you but, you're team as your lying on the floor after being hit with a reaper beam and trying to prevent being indoctrinated.

If you didn't gather everyone (your allowed to have had the geth or Quarians die) up then when hammer team gets squished by Harbinger... bad but luck chum. You're reaper food at best, indoctrinated at worst.

But where's the green you ask? You don't get a bloody green. Green will never be added onto the wheel...

So yeah. Shepard lives. After your war you do as Garrus said and retired from the Royalties off of the vids. Well you don't fully retire as your Commander Shepard but you take a massive step back in the Galaxy, have a few kids maybe with... well it's a very long list of possibilities. It's the job of men and women like James Vega, Kaiden Alenko and Ashely Williams to be the councils right hand now.
In 30 years time your looking up at the moon of some planet telling you're grand kid stories about what happened. And yes you do have a grand kid... gay adoption would be allowed if the person who saved the fucking galaxy was gay :p
Meanwhile elsewhere the Krogan have either been led by Eve (and Wrex for an even better) future or have mostly been re-sterilised, with a few shining examples left untouched so a more diplomatic race may enter the Galaxy.
The Humans have a council seat and more importantly a valued opinion on the council. Depending on your reputation and actions so do the Hanar, Volus, Elcore the Quarians. If both Wrex and Eve led the Krogans then they have an a seat on the council but still gather some fear from the Salarians unless Grunt survived who had fought besides most species before and in service of that was chosen as councillor.. The Batrians if you convinced them to aid you then they have an embassy, who are now working together peacefully in the wake of a united Galaxy... or they are just a regular endangered species. With the Hanar's influence they have gotten the Drell an Embassy and a new colony world to start on. The Geth if they exist have an embassy but prefer to peacefully keep to themselves (or keep with their creators).
All Cerberus forces around the Galaxy were hunted down, however with Shepard given an opportunity to pardon them before they faced a tribunal. Cerberus armed forces could not be saved due to indoctrination.
Aria gained control of Omega back but not is all so great. The more races have seats on the council, the less protection the Asari Councillor can give her. Omega is not what it used to be and is having to institue more laws than "don't fuck with Aria". Saying that it's not all bad for Aria as the more laws mean more revenue as Omega becomes a very liberal economy with only heavy mechs, bio weapons and large metaton explosives illegal. With mercenary bands keeping the peace within their sectors Omega has become one large Club dug into an asteroid.
The Blue Suns Mercenary group has become the main legitimate front around the Galaxy. Their involvement in the Reaper defeat led to a lot of fame and credibility. If Zaeed Massani killed the Blue Suns founder or survived the suicide mission then he took over management of the Blue Suns and took it's new found legitimacy and turned the force into a legitimate private army for hire with only rare special ops missions doing something illegal. If not then the Blue Subs carts from system to system or even planet to planet in both quality and professionalism.
The Eclipse kept to what it specialised. Stealth and Mechs. The Eclipse got fame from the Reaper war too but not as much. They find themselves as a private army to hire who is more specialised than the Blue Suns and tend to get less business as a result but they fill in the gaps in expertise and are often viewed with more legitimacy and professionalism than the Blue Suns (whoever the leader).
The blood pack faced a lose lose situation as a mercenary band. If they took part in the Reaper war their ground forces took losses so heavy that the vorcha population of the Galaxy dropped 40% over the period of a few hours. With the Vorcha needing to repopulate for the next several years the Krogan were most of the remaining members. Depending on if you cured the Genophage, or if Wrex found out the blood pack changed. If the Genophage was cured then the blood pack Krogan members disbanded to rebuild their world and civilisation. If the Genophage was not cured the the blood pack stood but over time as the Galaxy was more secure they were needed less and less to the point of becoming a neusence and being taken down. However if Wrex found out about your deception of not curing the Genophage then the blood pack went from a Merc band, the Krogans Black Op terrorist organisation. When the Reaper war concluded the blood pack committed atrocities not seen since the Krogan rebellions. They focused on humans as well as targeting the high command of the Turians and Salarians. If grunt survived then he personally assassinated the Salarian and Turian councillors, but was killed before he could kill the human councillor, merely breaking his lower spine.
The Galaxy was saved... or your Reaper food : )
