I'm 16 and I need a job. Can anyone tell me the best place to apply. It would also be nice if I was able to apply online.

If I do get a job my mother would be forced to allow me to drive. I have my license, but she still says I'm not good enough.

Edit: I live in America.

What country do you live in and whereabouts? Would help us a lot more if we knew where you were based.

You're not going to get any job where you can apply online when you're a sixteen-year-old; that is for real jobs, and you are looking for a minimum wage job. I suggest the "shotgun approach:" go to an area that's easy for you to get to and give your resume to every business there where you would even concievably consider working. Somebody in there must be hiring.

Retail sucks. Food service sucks. Get a job working construction. You'll make way more money. You'll learn some valuable skills. You'll build some muscle mass and real world strength.

Hehe, shotgun approach.

I'm looking for work too but, luckily for me, nepotism is paying off.

I want to apply online because I have a problem asking for applications from real people. Its just too hard. I know that if I apply online then meet them it will be easier.

Either take the shotgun approach as suggested above (I'm doing that and it's working somewhat) or take an apprenticeship something which gets a job and training done for a new ob in the future.

There is nothing wrong with being paranoid.

Gonna have to change that attitude when you start applying, confidence is one of hte firsts things all jobs look for.

anyways I would try a grocery store, if you get bag boy or something then you work with customers but not at the level of the cashiers

job center?

XD

just go into shops you like the look of and ask if you can give them a CV, that sometimes works
